CHLOE'S POV
When I leave today, the first thing I'm doing is meeting with the realtor.I pack my bags as Drew drives me to the airport.
"I'll be home soon, okay." He said I nodded.
"I know it hurts to leave, but I'll be home before you know it." He said.
He brought my tattoed wrist up to his lips.
He kissed it.
"I'm proud of you, baby girl." He said.
"I'm even more proud of you." I said.
He kissed me before I walked away.
"I love you so much." I whispered holding his hand.
"I love you so much more." He said.
As I walked away, I was still holding his hand.
My hand let go when I got to far.
I got on the plane excited to start my new life.
I got back to Drew's house.
"Chloe! How was it?" Maddy asked.
"It was great! I loved every second of it. But there's something I need to tell you." I said sitting next to her on the couch.
"Go ahead." She said.
"I'm going to be moving out." I said.
"Oh. But you'll still be next door, right?" She asked.
"No. Like I'm moving out of the Bronx." I said.
This hurt like a bitch.
"So I guess the rumors are true." She said.
"What rumors?" I asked.
"I thought Drew was overexaggerating when he said your parents are putting your college funds to an apartment." She sighed.
"I'm only in Brooklyn." I said.
"What about school?" She asked.
I shook my head.
"I'm dropping out." I said.
She sighed.
"I'll always be here for you, Chlo. You're a daughter to me." She said.
"I honestly can't thank you enough. You've basically been my mother for the past two months. Thank you." I said hugging her.
I packed up my stuff.
"Just know, I'm always proud of you." She said.
I got in my car and drove to Brooklyn.
The realtor was already there.
He showed me around and took me up to my floor.
He wished me luck and gave me my key.
I sat on the floor looking out the windows.
"Here's to new starts." I said.
