CHLOE'S POV
The last thing I need to do before I can buy furniture and paint the walls is go back to school once more. Not for the fun of it.
But because I have papers to sign since I'm dropping out.
I pull up in front of the school and sigh.
I buzz myself in.
Before I'm out for good, I have to break the news to Mr. Gill.
I walk up to his classroom and peer in his room to see if he has class right now.
Luckily he doesn't.
I walk in.
"Chloe! Where were you today and the day before?" He asked.
"Before I can answer that, I need to tell you something." I said.
"Continue." He said.
"There's no easy way to say this, but I'm dropping out." I said.
He looked at me in shock.
"But why?!'' He asked.
"I just can't anymore. It messes with my anxiety too much. I'm obviously going to miss your class." I said.
"You do know you're a brilliant actress?" He asked.
"Thank you. I hope to do community theater in my free time just for you. And if you need me to choreograph next you, I'll be more than happy to." I said.
"I'm going to miss you, kid." He said.
"I'm going to miss you too, Mr. G." I said.
"I still remember your first audition. You were so timid and shy. You've blossomed into this star. I'm grateful to have been your teacher." He said.
"I'm grateful to have been your student." I said.
"Break a leg in whatever you decide to pursue." He said.
"Thank you." I smiled.
I left his room and wiped some tears away.
I walked down to my counselor's office.
She gave me the papers and I signed them.
I left with my head held high.
Before I could go back to Brooklyn, I left a floral arrangement on Kathy's doorstep.
Attached with a note.
Dear best friend,
Yes the rumors are true. I've dropped out. Sorry if this has water stains because of my tears. Thank you for being my best friend these past four years. You've been my sister these past four years and I wouldn't trade that for 5 Seconds of Summer tickets. Below is my new address. Please visit whenever. I love you so much, Katherine/Phil/Spongebob.
Love ,
Chloe/Dan/Patrick
