CHLOE'S POV
I go back to my hotel rooms and look at apartments in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

I would want to live in Manhattan just cause I love the city.

But I'd be closer to my mom.

I want to do this on my own.

Distance from both parents.

I mostly look at the Brooklyn apartments.

They're pretty nice and it still would be a change of scenery.

The only thing is, they're so spacious.

All of the ones I looked at online were three bedrooms but yet they were still in my range.

A certain one catches my eye.

It's called the Avalon Brooklyn Bay.

It's huge and spacious.

But I don't care about that.

It has these huge windows in the living room.

You could see all of New York.

You can watch the sun set or rise.

It's beautiful.

I get Drew on Facetime.

"Angel." He said holding out the l.

"I found the perfect apartment." I said.

"Let me see!" He said.

I turned the camera around and clicked through all the pictures.

"Okay well that's huge." He said.

"Besides that, what do you think?" I asked.

"I love it I think it fits you perfectly because you have this obsession with views. And it's big enough for you to have a dance room." He said.

I laughed.

"I do love a nice sunset. But it's also big enough for you to have a music room." I said.

"It has three beds. So we can have our friends over." He said.

"Perfect. I only have two friends." I said.

He laughed.

"I say let's do it." He said.

I took a deep breath.

"We're really doing this." I said.

"We really are." He smiled.

I called the number.

I was able to still buy it.

It was the exact price on the website.

Here's to taking my first steps into adulthood.
