CHLOE'S POV
I look out the window and see my parents cars pull up.They both get out their cars and walk in the house.
Not even looking at each other.
"They're home." I tell Drew.
"Don't go over there unless they tell you to." He said.
I nodded.
A couple minutes later, I got a come home text from my mom.
"I'll be back." I said.
"I'll be waiting." He said kissing my hand.
I walked in.
"Sit down, Chlo." My dad said pointing to the couch.
"H-How'd court go?" I asked trying to break the ice.
"We're officially divorced. Since your dad does pay for most of the bills, I'll be living in an apartment one of the women I work with just put up for sale in Manhattan." My mom explained.
"Okay. Do I go with you or stay here?" I asked.
"It's really up to you. We told the judge that you're eighteen, an adult. We also told him that you've been staying with Drew. So you can either continue living here, go with your mom, or talk to Drew." My dad explained.
"Just know whatever you choose we still love you very much." My mom added on.
I sat there and took everything in.
If I stay here, I'll still be close to Drew and go to school.
If I go with my mom, I'll be farther from Drew and may have to change schools.
I felt the option was clear.
"I'm going to go talk to Drew." I said.
They nodded.
"Okay." They said.
