CHLOE'S POV
I sit around my room waiting to leave.
I look at my outfit.
Is this okay?
I have on a long sleeved white crop top and denim shorts.
It's hot in California.
I get a text from Drew.
Everything💕: I know it's too early for you to wait in line, but I'm going to try and sneak ya through the back door of the studio ;)
Baby girl 💋🔐: Sneaky. I like it. On my way.
I get in my rented car go over to the studio.
I see Drew outside waiting for me.
He guides me where to go.
All of the top eighteen where in this little lounge place.
Drew got the members of the group he was with.
"We have an hour until doors open. This is my girlfriend, Chloe. She's going to do traditions." He said.
"Traditions?" I asked.
"Yes. I absolutely can't perform without them." He said.
"Okay. Form a circle. Close your eyes and hold hands." I said.
"I'm going to squeeze the hand of the person who's either to the right or the left of me. When I get the squeeze back, open your eyes." I explained.
I squeezed Drew's hand.
A couple seconds later, I got the squeeze.
"The other one?" He asked.
"Is that too extra?" I asked.
He shook his head.
"Okay. Spread out. It's a chant. Join in whenever you want." I said.
I started clapping my hands to a beat.
"Ooh, I feel some good light, ooh, I know I would, ooh I feel so good." I said.
They all joined in.
"Move around!" I said.
They all walked around doing it.
"A little louder now!" I said.
They were all screaming the chant.
All the guys looked at us.
"A little softer now!" I said.
I checked the time.
"Break a leg." I said to Drew kissing him.
I ran to the front.
Only a couple people were here.
By the time we got into the studio, it was packed.
I got into the front row.
I looked to my right and saw Nick.
I took pictures of him.
Rita Ora came out and introduced the boys.
"Here's Uplift." She said.
A curtain came up and one of the boys started beatboxing.
They were doing That's What I Like by Bruno Mars.
Drew was right in front of me.
They finished and I never felt more proud of him.
I blew him a kiss.
He caught it and smiled at me.
