DREW'S POV
"I've been dating the wrong guy." She said."W-What do you mean?" I asked.
"Everything was fine six months ago. You think you're in love, then someone else comes along." She said.
"So you never loved him?" I asked.
"I did. I loved him. As in the past tense." She said.
"So you love someone in the present tense?" I asked.
She nodded.
"Who if I may ask." I said.
"You." She said.
"Me?" I asked.
She bit her lip and nodded.
"I've felt this feeling before but I've tried to deny it. But that night, I couldn't deny it anymore. I love you, Drew. I love you not just as my best friend. But as someone I want to be with. Someone I need to be with." She said.
"Chlo, I've felt the same way ever since I've known you. I was just too chicken to say something." I said.
"Really?" She asked.
I nodded my head.
She opened her mouth to say something, then her phone buzzed.
"I'm so sorry." She said.
"Not your fault." I said.
She read her screen.
"Shit." She said.
"What happened?" I asked.
"I lost my prom date. But oh well." She shrugged.
"I wanted to ask you, then why aren't we together right now?" I asked.
"But we are." I said.
"I mean like as a thing. A couple." She said.
"I've been waiting for this day." I smiled taking her hand.
