DREW'S POV
Time was speeding up.There was only fifteen minutes left until the new year.
"Fifteen minutes." I said.
"Okay. Before twenty seventeen ends, I just want to tell you I'm sorry. I was a fucking bitch for friendzoning you and repressing my feelings for you. Jay could never be the man you are. I should've realized it was you all along. I'm sorry I kept you waiting. I'm sorry it took me thirteen years to say I love you more than a friend." She told me.
"Aw baby. You don't have to apolgize for anything. I should've just told you I loved you more than a friend. But you're the best thing that's ever happened to me. I've wanted to be your boyfriend for the longest time. I've wished and wished. I've always wanted to spoil you and write you songs. Words can't describe how happy I am to finally have you as mine." I said to her.
"I always knew my one true love was the boy next door to me." She smiled.
"I've known that you were the one since we were eight." I said.
She smiled and kissed my cheek.
My watch beeped.
She opened the champagne.
"Happy new year, baby girl." I said.
"Happy new year, babe." She said kissing me.
She handed me the bottle.
I took a sip.
The bubbles felt good going down my throat.
"A-Are we going to do this again?" I asked.
"Only if you want to." She whispered.
"I love you so much." She said.
"I love you so much more." I said.
