DREW'S POV
I sighed and turned my phone off.I put it back in my pocket and walked out my room with my key.
I went out by the pool where everyone else was.
I sat on a beach chair.
"Hey, Drew right?" A guy asked.
"Yeah, you're Chance?" I asked.
"Yeah." He said sitting in the chair next to mine.
"I know we just met like fourty minutes ago, but is everything alright?" He asked.
"Yeah I guess. I just miss my girlfriend back in New York." I said.
"I feel that." He said.
"You have a girlfriend too?" I asked.
"No. But I do have a two year old daughter and I'm not used to being away from her this long." He said.
"Aw. What's her name?" I asked.
"Brooklyn Louise." He said.
"Cute." I said.
"How long have you two been dating for?" He asked.
"Almost five months. We were neighbors since we were five but it took us awhile to realize we were meant for each other." I said.
"That's kind of cute actually." He said.
"Thanks." I smiled.
I didn't think I was going to connect with anyone.
I thought it was an every man for themselves deal.
I looked at the guys in the pool.
They were all bonding.
I guess it's the opposite.
They were all laughing and playing games like they've known each other their whole lives.
I know what she'd say right now.
She'd tell me to join in.
I went over by the basketball court.
"I got next!" I said.
"You can join in now." One of them said throwing me the ball.
Despite Chloe not being here, I think I'm going to like it here.
