DREW'S POV
This poor girl. She was only in school for a day and she's in the hospital.
While we were waiting for the doctor to come in, I was making her laugh.
I kept telling her cheesy pickup lines.
It was kind of working but not as well as it usually does.
"Alright baby girl, what's wrong?" I asked.
"What if I can never dance or tumble again?" She asked.
"Babe, it was a little fender bender. You're probably fine." I said trying to reassure her.
"Yeah but when my head and back hit the seat, it hurt so much." She said.
"Don't stress. It'll only make your headache worse. You're going to be okay, okay?" I asked.
She nodded.
"Now smile before I get on that bed and tickle you." I threatened.
I got her to laugh.
The doctor finally came in.
He said she has severe whiplash.
"You're going to have headaches, back spasms, dizziness, and stiff neck." He said.
"Will I be okay to do dance and gymnastics?" She asked.
"Not for at least three months. That's when you'll fully recover." He said.
"What?! My job is a coach for the younger kids at the gym and teaching the kids how to dance." She said.
"Well, give it a few weeks and come back in and we'll see how you're doing. As of right now, no school for two weeks and absolutely no dance, gymnastics, or anything physical for four weeks." He said.
He left the room to get the paperwork to clear her from the hospital.
I held her hand.
"It's okay. I'll take care of you." I said.
"I love you so much." She said about to cry.
"I love you so much more." I whispered to her.
