DREW'S POV
Today I plan on spoiling Chloe. She's going to hate me.
But she deserves it.
She's been out for a week and she's trying to catch up with all her school stuff.
Kathy has been texting everything she's missed and she's trying her best to keep up.
I keep telling her to stop cause her headaches will get worse.
I just need to distract her from her work for a couple hours.
I know she's going to fight me all day today.
But hey, she's worth it.
I go over to her house at around nine.
She's still sleeping.
I start poking her.
"Hey Chloe." I whispered.
She opened her eyes.
"Hi angel." I said.
"What time is it?" She asked.
"Around nine." I said.
She sat up.
"What's up?" She asked.
"Go get ready. I'm taking you out today." I said.
She was ready within twenty minutes.
"Where are you taking me?" She asked.
"To get your nails done." I said.
"Why?" She asked.
"Cause you've been through so much." I said.
"I'm paying." She said.
"No you're not." I said.
"Yes I am." She said.
We argued all the way there.
I opened the door to the salon for her.
She chose the color for her acrylics.
She went to pay, but I jumped in front of her.
"I hate you sometimes." She said.
"I love you too." I said kissing her cheek.
I took her to the mall.
Every time she bought something, I would jump in front of her and pay.
"You suck." She said as we left.
"Let me love you." I said puppy eyes.
She laughed and kissed me.
To finish our day, I took her for lunch.
When the check came she tried to be slick.
"I'm going to run to the restroom." She said.
"Liar." I said.
"What?" She asked.
"Chlo, you do this every god damn time. You say you're going to the bathroom but when you come back the check is magically paid for." I said.
She pouted and sat back down.
"I love you." I said kissing her.
I took her back home.
"Thank you for everything today. It means a lot." She smiled.
"Nothing's too good for my baby girl." I said.
She smiled at me.
"I love you so much." She said.
"I love you so much more." I said.
