DREW'S POV
"This is all my fault." I sighed."At least I got to see her." Her mom said.
"Well." My mom said.
"Well what?" I asked.
"Don't just stand here talking to us, go find your girlfriend!" My mom said.
I ran out the apartment with my mom and Bianca following.
I know where she is.
I go down to Plumb Beach.
I see her pink highlights.
She's sitting on the sand just watching the ocean waves.
"Chlo babe." I said sitting next to her.
"What, Drew?" She asked wiping tears away.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Isn't it obvious? My mom only cares when something big happens in my life. I was hoping our relationship wouldn't be like this. But too late." She said.
"I got to be honest, Chloe." I said.
"What?" She asked.
I hope I don't break her anymore.
"I texted my mom to tell your mom to come over." I said.
"Why?" She asked her voice breaking.
"I thought I could help." I mumbled.
She started crying all over again.
I held her.
"I didn't know that she was putting you off so much. I just wanted you to be okay." I said.
I held her as she cried.
I hate seeing her this way.
God damn it, Drew.
"I'm an idiot!" I yelled.
"No." She whispered.
"What's that, baby?" I asked drying her eyes.
"You're the smartest man I've ever met in my life. You tried to do something nice for me but I was selfish. I didn't even try. I'm the idiot." She said.
"No baby. I didn't know your relationship was that bad. I'm sorry." I said kissing her head.
"So can we go home?" She asked.
"Of course." I said helping her up.
