*Your POV*
Veronica left with her parents, but the rest of us are there for hours, laughing, and talking. I check my watch, and it's 11:30. I stand up, "Well, I should get going." I say.

"Yeah, me too," Archie says.

"We'll see you guys later?" I ask.

"Yeah, see you later." Jug says. Archie walks out, and I follow him.

"Hey, Arch," I say.

He turns around. "Yeah?"

"Why were you looking at Dilton through the window? You seemed, concerned."

He sighs, "I...made a deal with him."

"Which was?"

"Here, can we get in the car and talk about this?"

"Uh, sure I guess." We both walk into my truck.

"Drive to the bridge next to Sweetwater River, okay?" He says.

"Okay," I say. I start the car and start driving. "Where exactly is that?"

"Um, make a left," he says. I do what he told me, and he keeps instructing me. We arrive at the bridge and get out.

"You mind telling me what's going on now?"

"I'm...making a trade with Dilton."

"Okay, what is it?"

"He's giving me a gun," he says.

"Wait, what? Why?"

"I...just need it. I'd feel more protected...Just...please don't tell anyone, okay?"

I sigh, "Alright, I guess."

We reach the middle of the bridge, and he leans over it. I hear footsteps behind us.

"Hey, Dilton," Archie says.

"What's she doing here?" Dilton asks.

"Don't worry, I'm not going to do anything," I say.

"Alright well, I got what you asked for," he says and gives him a bag.

Archie takes it and looks around. He opens the bag and pulls out a handgun. I take a deep breath and look around. "I'm not crazy. The guy is still out there. It's just for protection, don't worry," he says.

"Sure, Archie. Whatever you say," Dilton says, leaning his hands against the edge of the bridge. Archie puts the gun in his pocket and gives the bag back to him. He looks at me, and then walks off, expecting me to follow, so I do.

After we're a little away from him, I ask, "Do you even know how to use that?"

"No, but I'm going to learn."

"I could help you maybe?" I say. He looks at me, "I mean, I used to shoot guns with my dad when I was younger, but after he got into drinking, I signed up for classes. Don't worry, I can help you. I want to help you. I'm your friend, and I don't want you getting hurt."

We reach my car. "Alright. Thanks, [Y/N]." We both get in and I start driving. We reach his house.

"Just, text me whenever you want help shooting, okay?" I ask.

"Okay, I will," he says. He gets out and walks inside.

I drive back to my apartment. When I get there, I change into my normal clothes and put my uniform in my closet. I'll return it tomorrow and probably work, too. I stretch and lay down in my bed. I get out my laptop and select the video on my desktop. I stare at it for a second, and then delete it. I want Cheryl to be able to trust me. I'm honestly hoping that we can still be sort of friends. I close my laptop and lay on my side. I slowly drift off to sleep.
