*Your POV*
Veronica and I are sitting down at Pop's. She ordered a chocolate milkshake, I got vanilla, and we shared a basket of fries.

"So, tell me more about your sister," she says, taking a sip of her milkshake.

I shrug, "There's really not much to tell, to be honest."

"Hm, well where does she live? Does she live in an apartment like you?"

"No, she has a house of her own. She lives with her fiance and baby Luci a couple neighborhoods down."

"Oh, nice."

The bell dings, "I still don't know why Betty wants to meet us here," Veronica says, raising an eyebrow.

I sigh, "Maybe she's gonna try to tell you why she's been acting weird."

"Maybe.." she takes another a sip of her milkshake.

"Thanks for meeting me here guys," Betty says from behind me.

"Just spill it. Why?" Veronica asks.

"I don't expect you to believe me, but I didn't mean what I said, and there's no sane excuse for that." She takes a seat next to me.

"No, there isn't. So tell me, what's the insane excuse?"

She sighs and looks down. "It's the Black Hood...he's been calling me."

"What?" I ask. Veronica and I both look at each other, and then back at her. "Why didn't you tell anyone about this?"

"I told Archie." She says, trying to defend herself.

"Okay, why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't tell anyone else because he would hurt you. He's been watching me. He's been watching all of us. He knows, almost everything about me. And so, he told me to cut people out of my life. Including you, Vee.." She says, looking at Veronica.

"So that's why you wanted to spill the so called truth about me?"

"It's not the truth. I was making it up. Veronica, you are our friend. I know that what I said was harsh, but it's not true. And [Y/N], he, for some odd reason wanted me to break you and Jughead up..."

"Oh.." I think for a second. I guess it kind of makes sense, because I know that Jughead wouldn't want to break up with me to protect me. He knows that I can take care of myself.

"I'm really sorry, [Y/N]."

"No, don't be. I wanted that to be the answer. I knew that he wouldn't just break up with me out of the blue.." I say, looking at the table. Betty puts her arm on my back.

"Well, that's great, [F/I]," Veronica says, "I knew that he wouldn't just break up with you like that."

I chuckle, "I guess. I'll, deal with that later. Let's talk about this right now. So, just to recap...You're talking to a serial killer on the reg, and he's been puppet-mastering you?"

"I'll never forgive myself for what I said to you, Vee. Even to my Mom, [Y/N], and even Nick St. Clair."

"I would've happily given Nick's name, and then treated myself to a facial," Veronica says.

"Yeah, he deserved what he did," I say.

"You're in a toxic relationship with the Black Hood, and you need to break up."

"Or, I could turn the tables on him. He says that he'll go away if I do one last thing. Find out who's behind the Jingle Jangle. Some creep called, the 'Sugar Man.'"

"Okay, so what's the problem exactly?" I ask.

"If I give the Black Hood the name, he would kill him. And drug dealer or not, he's still a human being."
