*Your POV*
I go into work today. I might as well, I haven't done it in a while. I walk into Pop's. "Hey, Pop."

"Hello, [Y/N]. Long time no work?" He asks, cleaning the counter.

"I know, I'm really sorry about that."

He nods, "You're good."

"Thanks." I walk to the back, and get changed into my uniform. I go back out, and start busting some tables. About 20 or so minutes later, I walk out of from the kitchen and see Veronica and Betty sitting in a booth. I go over to them. "Hey, guys." I sit down for a little bit. Betty has a newspaper, that she probably thinks is more proof for her little theory.

"Hey," Veronica says. "I was gonna call you, but kinda figured you were already gonna be here." she chuckles. I shrug, and nod. "So, I saw Kevin's dad sneaking out in the middle of the night. And he came back at like, 4 am."

"Really?" I ask.

"Yeah." She nods. "I was gonna wake you up, but you were snoring, and looked like you didn't want to be bothered." I chuckle.

Betty nods. "Look at this." She puts down the newspaper that she had, and the article reads, "DRUG ADDICT FOUND DEAD ON SOUTHSIDE RAILROAD TRACKS"

"Whoa," I say, looking more into the paper.

"A Jingle Jangle addict's body was found by the tracks this morning."

Veronica looks down at the paper, "It says that the guy was killed by a train coming through." She looks back up at Betty. "What's your point?"

"Sheriff Keller pushed him in front of it. That's my point." She puts her finger on the paper.

"Or, he stumbled into the path."

"Okay, think about all of the locked doors in his house. Why?"

"Because he's a private person?" I raise my eyebrow.

"Betty, let's not confuse wanting to solve a mystery, without having one. Okay?" Veronica says. Betty just looks at her, annoyed. This girl needs some coffee or something. "This is Kevin's father we're talking about." She leans more onto the table, and crosses her arms.

"I don't think that he's hiding anything about being the Black Hood. Has he called you recently?"

She sighs, "No."

"And you're upset about that?"

"Well, I don't know. I kind of have mixed emotions about it. Like..I want him to keep calling me, so that I can like, try to get more out of him I guess? But..I'm also glad that he stopped because he was literally tearing my life apart."

"That's one way to put it." I tilt my head. "Well, good luck." I stand up. "I got to keep working."

"Can you get us a basket of fries please?" Veronica asks.

"Yep." I walk back to the kitchen. "One basket of fries," I tell the cook. He puts a thumbs up and starts working. I clean some dishes in the sink. There are a lot of them. Ever since Becca quit, I guess we're just not as clean as we used to be. She moved out of town, but that's okay. Thomas puts the basket of fries to the side, and I get them. I walk back out, but they're gone. Weird...I look around to see if maybe they moved to a different booth, but nope. "Okay then.." I mutter and turn around. I walk back into the kitchen. Thomas raises his eyebrow. "They weren't there. They left." I shrug and put the fries back on the counter. He isn't one to talk much, but that's okay. I respect that. He just nods and goes back to what he's doing. My phone starts ringing, and it's Betty. I pick up. "Where'd you guys run off to?"
