*Your POV*
I drive up to the White Wyrm. There are lots of motorcycles parked along the curve and loud music playing from inside. I get out and walk inside. I look around and see Jughead. I go over to him, "Hey."
He smiles when he sees me, "Hey." He brings me closer to him, making me slightly blush. "You blushing?" He raises an eyebrow.
I guess I haven't blushed in a long time around him. I don't really know what's gotten into me. Well, now I'm blushing even more because he asked me that question. I shrug, "I guess." We both laugh. He kisses me and I kiss back.
"Jones!" Someone yells. We pull away from each other and look over to the Serpent. "Join us!" A group of people starts cheering around a pool table. I look at him.
He chuckles, "Nah that's okay." They all start 'awing.' He laughs, "[Y/N] could, though?"
"Really?" I raise an eyebrow.
He shrugs, "Sure, why not?"
I shrug, too, "Alright, I guess." I need to clear my mind anyways. I go over to the pool table and grab a cue. Jughead walks away and goes over to Archie. Everyone else gathers around the table.
"Break it!" Someone says.
I laugh and nod, "Okay." I lean over and aim my cue at the ball. I close one eye and shoot, causing all of the balls to roll across the table. Everyone starts cheering again, making me laugh. These people are all crazy and I love it. Everyone's taking shots at the ball, making and missing pockets. Basically, this place is just loud.
Toni comes over to me, "Having fun?"
I laugh, "Yeah. This place is great."
"Well, it's mostly just because of the party, but yeah. Can I get you anything?"
I shrug, "Shirly Temple?"
She nods, "Yep." She walks back over to the bar. I turn back to the pool table and play for my turn.
Around maybe 30 minutes later, I call it quits.
"Alright, I'm done! Someone finish for me!" I say.
"I will!" A girl named Jasmine says. I smile and give her my cue.
"Good luck!" I take my drink and walk around. I go over to Archie and Veronica. "Hey, guys." I sit across from them at a table.
"Hey. Saw you having fun over there," Archie laughs.
I laugh, too, "Yeah, this place is fun. I didn't know how nice everyone was.
Veronica shrugs, "I guess. Archie and I are going to perform later."
"Really? Nice. What song?"
"Mad World. Thought it might fit the theme," she laughs.
"How long has it been since you guys sang together?"
Archie quickly sighs and shrugs, "I don't know."
"Too long," she finishes.
"Well, I bet you guys will sound great." I take a sip of my drink. My eyes wander over to the right of Archie. Betty and Alice are walking in, looking like total bad-asses, to be honest. My eyes slightly widen. "Whoa."
Archie and Veronica both look at where I'm looking. "Oh wow," Veronica says. They both turn back to me. "Didn't see that coming."
I scoff, "Yeah, me either." I take another sip and glance to the side. I think for a second and then turn around. "You know Jasmine, I think I'm actually gonna keep playing." Everyone at the table starts cheering again. I put my drink on the table and go over to them. Jasmine gives me back my cue and I start striking balls into pockets.
~
I look over and Archie and Veronica look like they're having a serious conversation. I look kind of confused for a second, but then let it slide. Betty calls them up to the stage and they both walk up. Jughead and I walk into the crowd to watch. They start singing, but something seems a little off. Jughead leans against the pool table, crossing his arms. As the song goes on, their moods start changing so they match it. I look at Veronica with concern.
"Mad world.." They both sing. After that, Veronica walks off the stage. I stop leaning on the table and stand up straight. "Veronica.." Archie says, causing feedback in the microphones. The song keeps playing as Archie chases after her. Everyone starts booing, except me, Jughead, and Toni.
"What was that about?" Jughead asks.
I shrug, "I don't know. I saw them talking to each other earlier, and it looked kind of serious."
"Huh.."
"Children waiting," someone starts singing. Jughead and I both look forward, and Betty's on the stage... "for the day they feel good," she sings. Jughead tenses up a little bit. "Happy birthday," she starts slowly unbuttoning her shirt. My eyes widen. "Sit and listen." Now her skirt is off. What the hell are you doing?
People start to look at Jughead and me. Jughead looks at her in disgust. I might do the same. She moves over to a pole and starts dancing on it. He looks down, not wanting to watch it anymore. She moves across the stage to the opposite pole and starts dancing on that one, too. I look over and see Alice staring at her, slightly disappointed. The song finally ends and she stands at the microphone. I can tell by the look in her eye that that was very uncomfortable for her, and totally not like her at all.
Jughead's head looks like it's going to explode with anger. I just blankly stare at her. The crowd is murmuring. Her eyes wander around the room, waiting for applause, but no one claps.
Someone starts clapping, making Jug's head shoot over to the person. It's FP. He slowly walks through the crowd. A couple people start clapping, but obviously not for her. "There he is!" Someone says. More people start clapping as he walks up to the stage.
He mutters a couple things to Betty. "Here you go," he gives her her jacket and she walks off. Thank God. "Let's give her a round of applause!" A couple more people start clapping. "Show her that hospitality that the Serpents are known for!" More and more people start clapping, except for Jughead and I. I still can't believe that she did that.
"Okay." He says, quickly, calming everyone down. "You know, I've been in and out of the Serpents since I was younger than my son." He points to Jughead. "And it's been a wild ride. Both good and bad times. But through it all, the Serpents stuck by my side!" People start cheering, "While most other people turned their backs on me. My own family included. Now, the letter of the law says that I can't be here in the Serpent den and associate with my friends, my real family! My blood!" I think I know where this is going.
"But I've been thinking about that. And it'll be a cold day in hell before a snake lets a pig tell him what to do!" People start cheering, again. "The Northside wants me outta this gang? Well, screw them! And they better bring a coffin because FP Jones isn't retiring!" I knew it. I look over at Jughead. He has an open mouth and shocked eyes. "I am not going gently into the night I'm here to stay! So bring the fire!" Jughead quickly looks at me and then back at his father.

FanfictionSuch a bad title I know. This is the sequel to 'The Diner.' I could've continued on that book, but I felt like I had too many chapters.
