*Your POV* (honestly idek why I still put that because I don't think that I'm gonna change anytime soon but oh well😂)
I wake up and it's Saturday. Thank God I need the weekend right now. Those happy thoughts all disappear when I remember what happened last night and what I found out. I sigh and sit up. I do all of my morning stuff and then call Rose. It rings a couple times and then she picks up, "Hello?"
"Hi, Rose," I say.
"Hey, [Y/N]. What's up?"
"I have a couple questions. About Mom and Dad. Could I come over?"
"Sure. I'll see you here," she hangs up. I put my phone down and get into my car. I drive to her house and knock on her door. She answers. "Hey."
"Hi," I say.
"Come in." She backs up. I walk in and look around. "Want to sit on the couch?"
I nod, "Sure." We both sit down on the couch, across from each other.
"So, what'd you want to ask about?"
I get out the yearbook from my bag, "Is this Dad?" I point at the picture.
"Let me see," she says quietly. I give her the book. She looks at it for a little bit. "I mean, maybe..but I don't know if he even went here."
"Hm..I don't know. I was just really curious. Do you know what Mom's maiden name is?"
"Um, I think it's..." She thinks for a second, and then groans. "I'm not sure. But I think it starts with a K."
"Okay," I flip through the pages. Her first name is Emily so if that helps me at all. I reach the 'k' section and look for anyone with the name Emily and dark hair. I keep skimming the pictures, but I don't find anyone. I sigh, "She's not in here."
She looks down at the couch. "Do you...know if anyone here would know them? Maybe you could ask someone about them? Even though it's been a long time."
I think for a couple seconds, and then something comes to mind. "Cheryl. Or, the Blossoms." She looks at me, confused, "The Blossoms, they're this really rich, or, used to be rich family." I stand up, "They know them." I put the book back in my bag and pull it over my shoulder, "I got to go, but thanks for some of the advice." I say.
"Okay, good luck." She says.
"Thanks." I walk out of the door and into my car. I drive to Cheryl's little house. I pull up to the side and get out. I walk up to the door and knock on it. Cheryl opens the door.
"[Y/N]. What do I owe the pleasure?" She asks, putting her hand on her hip.
"I need to speak to your mom about something."
"Okay, she's in the living room, come on in." She lets me in.
"Thanks." I smile and she smiles back. I walk into the living room and Penelope is sitting on the couch, staring at a fire. "Excuse me, Mrs. Blossom?"
"It's Ms. now. If you didn't know my husband hung himself." She says, not making eye contact with me.
"Mother," Cheryl says.
"No, it's okay Cheryl." I walk closer to her, "I have to ask you something. I know that you know my parents from something, could it be because they went here a long time ago? Maybe in the 1970s?"
"Only your father." She's still not looking at me. I look down. "As a matter a fact we were together for a while until he dumped me for your mother, Emily. That's why I hate him and his family so much." She looks back at me, "Collin and I were in love." She turns back around, "But then he left me."
"Oh..Well, I'm sorry that that happened, Mrs.- or, Ms. Blossom. That's all I wanted to ask, thank you for your time." I turn around. I nod at Cheryl, and she nods back.
I walk out the door and get into my car. I just sit in the seat, staring at the wheel in front of me. I finally snap out of it and drive off of their property. I don't know where to drive, honestly. I don't' really want to go back to my apartment, and I don't know if I want to bother Jughead and add another problem to his list.
I just drive to the park. I park my car and get out. I start walking around a little bit. I find a bench and sit down. It's a little cold out, and when I exhale I can see the air escape my mouth. My eyes just wander around me. I'm not really sure what I'm doing here, to be honest.
"[Y/N]?" Someone asks. I turn around, to see Kevin. (HE'S BACK AHAHAH okay sorry)
"Oh, Kevin. Hey." I say.
"What are you doing here? It's freezing out." He comes closer to me. I turn back around to face forward.
"I'm not really sure." I shrug.
"Everything okay?" He sits down next to me.
"Well, I just found out that my dad actually went to Riverdale High and lived here for a couple years, and even dated Penelope Blossom." I slightly cringe at her name, and at the thought of them dating.
"Oh. Well, that's unexpected."
I chuckle, "Yeah. I guess I just wanted to think about it for a little bit. I don't know."
"Have you told anyone yet?"
"Just you."
"Hm," he nods and looks down.
"Honestly I don't even know why I'm upset. Well, not exactly upset. But I just don't really know what to think? I don't know if I should be sad, weirded out, happy, or mad? I think my emotions are just everywhere right now." Good thing about Kevin, is he's a good listener. He doesn't talk much, but he listens. Like I just ranted his ear off and he understood all of it.
"I think that you can have mixed emotions about it."
I nod, "I agree. Like happy because we went to the same school, which is cool I guess. But also mad because I thought that I had come here to start a whole new life, where none of me or my family existed. But I guess they did."

FanfictionSuch a bad title I know. This is the sequel to 'The Diner.' I could've continued on that book, but I felt like I had too many chapters.
