*Your POV*
I wake up before my alarm. I think for a second, and I think that I should visit Jughead and see how he's doing. I get out of bed and open my fridge. There's not really a lot to look at...I need to go shopping. Maybe I'll do that today. I just get a glass of water, so I don't die, and drink it. When I'm done, I get dressed, and get my bag, and drive to Jug's place. It takes me about, five to ten minutes to get there, but when I do, I go up and knock on the door. I look to my left, waiting for him to answer.A tired Jughead with messy hair opens the door. "[Y/N], what time is it?" He asks, backing up and looking at the clock.
I walk in, "7:15. I wanted to catch you before you went to school." We quickly kiss, and I walk into his kitchen.
"Sorry, I have morning breath." He closes the door, "You want coffee or something?" I chuckle and look at him. "Right," he nods, "forgot about that." We both laugh. (if you really like coffee then change it doesn't really matter lol) He walks into the kitchen and puts his hat down.
"Actually, I was headed towards the library with Betty. Apparently, she asked Ms. Paroo to save all the books she has about like, cryptograms and ciphers." I say, sitting down. "She thought that it'd help us crack the code from the Black Hood."
"Actually, funny enough," he says, pouring a bowl of cereal. "Toni and I started working on that yesterday at the Red and Black. She heard about it, too. I can show you guys what we have so far if you want."
I nod. "She must love serial killers then."
"She does have an affinity for the darker side of things, yeah," he says, taking a bite of his cereal.
"In that case, why don't we all work on it together? You, me, Toni, Betty, and Kevin."
"Kevin?" He looks up.
"Yeah. He found out about it, too." I say, scratching my head. "It'll be like a, fun little code-breaking party. And you can host." I lightly punch his arm.
He chuckles, "Yeah, that'd be fun." he nods, and eats his cereal. "Tonight then?"
"Sure. I'll get going, but I'll see you tonight." I say, standing up.
"Okay, I'll see you tonight," he says.
I walk out of the trailer and drive to school. When I get there, I see a couple people walking around, with white shirts on. Is today like a spirit day or something? I keep walking and start to notice that the shirts have a big red circle on them. Oh, no. Oh, my God. Oh, God. Okay. I walk a little faster and open the door to the school. I walk inside and start to see more and more people with the shirts on. God, was this Archie's idea? More and more white shirts are appearing. I turn, and the whole hallway is filled with them. I sigh and look around. I don't see anyone I know. I move through the crowd, and finally see a familiar red head. I go up to her.
"Cheryl, what is this?" I ask.
"Oh, do you want one?" She asks, holding out a shirt.
"What? No, I don't want one. I want to know what's going on here." I say, refusing the offer.
She takes it back and hands it to someone else. "Well, this was Veronica's idea. I think that she and Archie had a talk about how she wanted to support him more about this whole Red Circle thing."
"Okay.." I look around, "But why this way? Weatherbee's probably going to freak out."
"Maybe, but she said that we should just let him do his worst." She continues to hand out shirts.
I turn around and walk into an empty classroom, where there's actually space for me to breathe. I close the door, and just stand there, thinking.
"Where's your shirt?" Someone asks. I jump and turn around.
"Jesus," I say. I realize it's Betty. She's sitting at a desk, working on something. "Where's yours?" I say back, laughing a little.
She laughs, too. "Okay, okay."
"So, did the library have any books for us?"
"Yeah, but only a couple," she points to some books on the desk next to her.
"Hm." I nod. "So, I went to Jug's this morning, and you, me, Kevin, and Toni are all going over to-"
"Wait, who's Toni?" She asks.
"Oh, just someone that he goes to school with."
"Is it a boy or a girl?"
I chuckle, "Girl, why?"
"Well, I don't know. Aren't you worried that like, you know."
I raise my eyebrow, "What?"
She sighs, "Never mind. Continue."
"Okay so, we're all going over to his place and just try to crack the code together. Or, at least improve on what you have so far."
"Which is nothing," she looks at it. I look at it too, clueless.
"Well, I hope that these books have something to do with this," I sigh.
"Yeah."
"I'll tell Kevin in first period."
"Okay. What time?"
I shrug, "Maybe 6?"
"Okay, cool."
The bell rings. She stands up and gathers some of her stuff together. "See you later," she says.
I nod and walk out. The halls have cleared out a little. I walk to history and spot Kevin. "So, how about coming to a 'code-cracking' party at Jug's tonight?" I ask, sitting down.
"Maybe. I don't think that I have anything else to do," he says.
"Cool."
"So by 'party,' who's gonna be there?"
"You, Betty, Toni, me, and Jug."
"Who's Toni?"
That's what Betty asked too. Haha, sorry. "She's just this Serpent that he met there. And, she seems nice."
"Hm." He says, looking to the side.
"What?" I chuckle.
"It's just, you might want to watch her a little."
"Why?"
"Well, I mean wasn't Jughead's dad, FP a serpent, too?"
I nod, "Yeah, and?"
"Never mind, it's nothing. Just keep an eye on her."
"Okay." I shrug. "She seems nice."
"I'm sure she is."

FanfictionSuch a bad title I know. This is the sequel to 'The Diner.' I could've continued on that book, but I felt like I had too many chapters.
