*Your POV*
We sit in a booth at Pop's. I sigh, "I'd never seen him that mad before." I say, leaning my hands on my forehead. "I...I have to talk to him." I nod and lean forward."Yeah. I did today, while I was fixing his car," she says, taking a sip of her milkshake.
Her phone starts ringing. "Oh, my God. Is that the Black Hood?" I ask, quickly.
She slowly picks up her phone, and then quickly turns it over. "It's Cheryl." I loosen up a little. "Hey...you did?...who is he?...wait, are you positive?" She hangs up.
I raise an eyebrow, "What was that about?"
"Cheryl just told me the Sugar Man's name."
"Oh, my God." I smile, "Cheryl Bombshell for the win."
She sighs, "What do I do, [Y/N]?" I tilt my head. "If I give the Black Hood his name, may God have mercy on the Sugar Man, but if I don't, may God have mercy on all of us."
I sigh and look to the side. "Betty, you have to tell him. I mean, think about it. He's the Sugar Man. He's dealt drugs, the Jingle Jangle." I honestly hate saying those words.
"Yeah but, I mean what if I just don't tell him.." she glances to the side, and then back at me. She has one of those looks that you get when you have a really good idea.
"Alright, tell me your plan."
"What if I just threaten him, you know? I have to find out who the Black Hood is. I can just make it seem like I'm onto him the next time he calls me." she sighs, "I'll do that tomorrow."
"Yeah." I take a sip of my milkshake. "I think I'm going to talk to Jughead. And I'm going to make him listen, about why we had to break up. I just miss him, you know?"
"Yeah, I totally get it. And, now that it's just us," she looks around, "I'm just clarifying, that nothing was going on about you and Archie. That was just all in his head."
"You'd be right. Nothing, was ever going on between us. We're just friends." I raise my eyebrows and nod. "And even if he did feel anything about that, I would say no," I reassure and take another sip.
"Okay. I know you would, anyway," she says. We clink our glasses together.
~
I drive to the trailer park. My heart is racing...I pull up and get out of the car. I'm about to go up the staircase, but the door opens. Jughead comes out, and hugs me, unexpectedly. I'm shocked..he must've seen me pull up. He finally lets go.
"Jug..." I say.
"I'm so sorry." He takes my hands and looks down. "Archie told me everything. How the Black Hood had been calling Betty. And how everything has just been happening so fast." I smile, relieved. I pull him in for a passionate kiss. We're standing there, kissing for a little while, happy with each other. I pull away, and we walk inside. We both sit down on his couch.
"I..am so sorry, that I thought that you and Arch were having some sort of thing with each other," he says, looking down.
I hold his hand. "It's okay, Jug." he looks up at me. "It's always been you. You're the one that I love."
"I love you, too." We kiss, and he pulls me a little closer. I can feel my face heating up just a little... "I'm happy to have you back," he whispers.
I smile, "Me too."
~
A couple hours have passed of him typing his novel, and me reading a book. I'm really happy that Jug and I made up. I hated fighting with him or exchanging negative looks at each other. "Hey, question," I say, and he looks over at me. "I'm not gonna be mad or anything, but..were you and Toni.."
"Okay, we kissed once. But then she told me that she wasn't into me, and she knew that I wasn't over you, yet." He starts rubbing my arm for comfort.
"Okay. I'm glad you told me. And I'm not mad. I was just wondering." I say. He smiles, and kisses me. "I'm gonna get something to eat," I say, and stand up. He nods, and I go into the kitchen. I open the fridge and find some grapes. I shrug and get them out. I wash them, put them in a bowl, and then walk back over and sit down. I start eating them, and he does too. He closes his laptop and puts it on the table in front of us.
"What do you wanna do?" He asks, eating a grape.
I shrug, "I don't know. What do you wanna do?"
"Pop's?"
"Sure, why not." We both get up, and he puts his bag over his shoulder. We walk out the door, and start walking towards Pop's. He laces our fingers together, and I smile at him. We decide not to drive because to be honest, we both need the exercise, and it's within walking distance anyway. When we get there, we see Archie sitting at a table with Betty.
Betty sees us, "Hey, guys." She smiles, waving at us.
"Hey," I say. We both walk over. He sits next to Betty, and I'm next to Archie.
"So, you guys made up?" She asks.
I smile and look over at her, "Yeah, we did."
"And, I'm sorry about the Black Hood calling you, we'll figure it out," Jug says, looking at Betty.
"It's okay. I kind of got him off my back." She says, taking a sip of her milkshake.
"You did?" I ask.
"Yeah. I hope that he won't call as much now."
"Hm." I nod. We spend a couple hours there, eating, and talking. I kinda want to find out exactly what Archie told him. I guess I'll ask about that later.
"I should get going," Archie says, looking at his phone. I stand up from the booth to let him out.
"Yeah, we should too," Jug says, standing up. I check my watch, and it's around 8:30. I walk a little closer to him, and we hold hands. "We'll see you guys later." We walk out, and back to his trailer. We sit back down on the couch. "I have to tell you something."
"Okay, what is it?"
"I'm...kind of a Serpent now." He admits. I sit up a little. "Don't worry, nothing's happened to me."
"Okay," I nod, "when did you become one?"
"Before the street race. I'm sorry, [Y/N], I am," he leans forward.
"It's..okay. As long as you don't get hurt."
"I won't. I know I won't," he says. I slightly smile. In the corner of my eye, I can tell that he feels kind of bad. "Hey, you wanna spend the night?"
"Sure, why not?" I smile, and he does too. We watch TV for another half an hour or so. He mostly worked on his novel, then looking at the TV. Whatever we were watching ends, and I turn off the TV and yawn. "How are you not tired?" I lean on his shoulder and look at what he's writing.
He chuckles, "I don't know." He closes his laptop and puts it on the table. "Why are you tired?"
"I don't know," I repeat. "When are you gonna finish your novel so I can read it?"
He shrugs, "Whenever I feel like it." He smiles at me. He quickly kisses me. We both get up and walk to the bedroom. I lay down, and he gets changed into some more comfortable clothes. "Do you want to borrow.."
*Jughead's POV*
She lays down on my bed and pulls the covers over her face. I chuckle and change into a white tank top, and some pajama pants. "Do you want to borrow anything?" I ask. No response. I look over at her, and she's already snoring. I smile, "Oh well." I quietly say. I put my beanie on the bedside table, and climb into bed with her. I wrap my arm around her and fall asleep myself. Maybe I was tired.

FanfictionSuch a bad title I know. This is the sequel to 'The Diner.' I could've continued on that book, but I felt like I had too many chapters.
