MATT: Shiro was honestly the most impulsive and reckless kid at the Garrison.
LANCE: Yeah, right. *ROLLS EYES*
PIDGE: No, dude, it's true.
MATT: Yeah. You'd think it was me who got him in trouble, but nope! He was a million times more reckless with me around, because, to him, doing dangerous stuff was more fun with me telling him "No, Shiro, you better not do that," or "Don't you dare, Shirogane." or "I think the Quiznak not, pal!"
MATT: So anyways, there was this one time where someone thought that he couldn't fly a plane blindfolded and then not get yelled at Iverson.
MATT: At first, he was hesitant, but then I said that he probably shouldn't do it, and all of a sudden, he was a hundred percent for it.
MATT: So he did.
MATT: And he flew spectacularly, but then Iverson went up to him. I remember thinking "Thank god." But nooooo. Iverson was like,
MATT: *IMITATING IVERSON* Listen here son, that *POINTING DRAMATICALLY AT NOTHING IN PARTICULAR* was rash, impulsive,and some of the BEST FLYING I HAVE EVER SEEN.
MATT: And he got off easy, the little loser.
MATT: And he never stopped doing dumb stuff.
MATT: And he never got in trOUBLE, THE IDIOT.
MATT: *INCOHERENT YELLING*
[THE GARRISON TRIO THEN SPENT THE FOLLOWING DAYS BETTING SHIRO HE COULDN'T DO THINGS, WITH MATT TELLING HIM NO AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY.]
