Let's Take A Little Ride

Chapter 8 ✔️

"Satellite linkup engaged. Keep proceeding northbound at current speed." Gisele said over the GPS.

"There they are, let's go." I said, getting back into work mode.

"Stay close to Fenix and Kaylee, they'll lead you across."

We pulled up in front of the four cars and sped off, knowing that this had to be precise for everything to work. They all fell into formation behind us pretty quickly, speeding up in order to keep up with us.

"Hurry it up, you guys have been tagged." Gisele said suddenly.

"Coño!" I muttered, pissed already.

"Don't worry we've got this." Fenix said.

He shifted gears and sped up more, getting his game face on. We're getting into the nitty gritty, if we don't do this exactly the way it has been set up to go things can get very ugly.

"Toretto, get back in formation." Gisele said.

I could see Fenix's face and he is not a happy camper right now. Idiots, they're all idiots, he's a huge fucking idiot. I started muttering to myself and pushed the button to open our hidden path. We all made it into the mountain and I pressed the button again to close off the cave entrance, making sure that no one finds it.

"They're sending a helicopter, you have 30 seconds." Gisele informed us.

"What the hell is going on Fenix? I thought this was clean?" I asked.

"Yo no se mami, pero no me gusta." he growled.

"Keep going, we've got this." I insisted.

"The window is closing fast, you need to get out of there before they send ground support. Fifteen seconds." Gisele insisted.

"Not that I doubt any of our mad skills but are we gonna make it?" I asked cautiously.

"Yes, we'll make it but this is going to be dealt with when it's over." he growled again.

"How?" I asked, not liking the bad feeling I was getting in my stomach.

"You'll see." he said with a smug grin.

"You're running out of time, you need to get out now!" Gisele insisted.

"I know this isn't a drill but you do know where you're going right?" I asked, getting very confused by this tunnel.

"I've been going through these tunnels for a while now. They were being worked on before you left. It's how we get in and out of Mexico unnoticed." he said.

"This is brilliant, es genial." I said enthusiastically as we made it out and I pressed the button to close the tunnel.

"I meant to mention it before. I like your tattoo mami, it's real good work."

"Thanks, it's just the beginning." I told him with a smile.

The rest of the drive while done fast was a bit more relaxed. By the time that we pulled up at the location he was still in a very bad mood. The men were there to unload the merch but I wasn't entirely convinced that that was the only thing they were here for.

"Sloppy! Very sloppy!" he shouted when we got out of the car, slamming the door shut.

I hopped out after him and stood near the trunk, listening to the guys complain about being touched while I put my jacket on and stuffed my hands in the pockets. This bad feeling wasn't going away. One of the drivers got mouthy with Fenix who pulled his gun out quickly. I had my gun on me, just in case, I don't like this feeling.
