"What? Are you out of your damned mind buster? I know we want to get this done but you going back to the states isn't the way. What the hell do you plan on doing there anyway?" I demanded.

"Are you serious right now? Think about what you're saying. You're wanted Brain, the moment you step foot off that plane it's a wrap. You're not coming back,I agree with Kaylee this is a bad idea." Roman argued and I completely agreed with him.

""Coming back"? How are you going to get in the country?" Tej asked.

"Let me worry about that." Brian said.

"Listen here buster, I'm not gonna tell Mia that your ass got tossed in jail because you were being stupid. Think about this." I insisted, standing next to Dom who was squeezing my sides in comfort.

"This is on me. I'm the one that served her up to Braga, I'm the one that gets to make it right. Let me make it right." He pleaded to Dom.

"Toretto don't you dare." I growled.

"Be careful." Dom said.

"Are you out of your mind? How could you let him do something like this? Both of you realize that you have a newborn baby at home right?" I demanded.

"Kay, calm down, it's something that he needs to do." Cara said, walking up to me.

"Do either of you realize that you're not just putting his future at risk? He's willingly putting his future and his family's at risk? How can you support that?" I asked them.

"Kaylee, I need to do this for me and for Mia. We need to figure out what's going on here in order to get ahead of the game. I can't keep letting Shaw be two steps ahead of us." Brian said.

"No, what the hell are we supposed to tell Mia when she calls asking for you? That you went back to LA because you wanted to ask Braga what Shaw's plans are? You're going to go play best friends with a man who's career we ended. How stupid can all of you be?" I shouted, walking away from them.

Before anyone could say something I hopped into my car and left the building. I need to get away from all of that and just breathe a little. My driving around randomly like this could very well put my life in danger but I need the space. After everything that we've done just to keep ourselves safe I can't believe they'd be willing to put it all in danger for a hunch. Braga won't say anything, especially not to Brian. He might just try to kill him while he's there, him or any of the men that Brian put there.

Realizing that I was hungry I stopped at a little bistro somewhere in the center of town. I ordered a small sandwich, cup of soup and a smoothie, taking it to a table outside. As soon as I sat down I was joined by someone else, not that it came as a surprise since I had noticed him following me once I hit town.

"Took you long enough to get out of that thing you call transportation." I said to him.

"It gets me where I need to go. You don't seem surprised to see me."

"I'm not Shaw, as soon as we started this job I realized that your name was familiar to me, I couldn't figure out where from but I do now."

"So you do remember me?" he asked with a small smile.

"I met you, there was a business meeting and you were there. You looked different back then though."

"Yes, Fenix was watching you very closely back then if I recall correctly."

"We weren't quite involved back then but he was sniffing around. Didn't like your sudden closeness to me or the fact that you kept staring at me."

"You were a beautiful woman, still are, it's quite the prize just to be sitting here looking at you."
