“Harry I…I don’t want to go to school…” Today was my first day back at school and I was practically peeing myself due to nerves. In these weeks of holiday that everyone had had, I had become more and more famous with every passing day. If I wanted to go shopping I had to get Paul to come with me, it had become so bad with fans.

"You’ll be fine babe. And if ANYONE dares to give you trouble I’ll go up to them personally and give them a piece of my mind. Call me if there is any trouble that you can’t handle and I will be there in the flashiest flashes of all flashes okay?”

This is why I loved this boy. He gave me a kiss on the forehead and handed me my school bag. Okay time to go…

“SEE I KNEW SHE WOULD COME BACK!”

“OH MY GOD! IT’S ALICE!”

“ALICE! HI! REMEMBER ME?”

“OH MY GOD. IT’S MY FRIEND ALICE BACK FINALLY! HOW’VE YOU BEEN?”

A huge wave of girls all came rushing over to me, screaming my name as I entered the school yard. Do you have any idea how fucking scary it is to have like a hundred girls all come barging over to you, pushing and shoving each other just to say hello? Yeah…it’s pretty scary…

“Um…can I get through? OW! Ugh please guys, let me through! Please, I do have a personal bubble you know! YES!” I had been forcing my way through the girls and finally reached the edge of the crowd. As soon as I was free, I bolted. I don’t think I have ever run so fast in my life! Not even when all those strangers had chased me and Harry through the mall that one time. Knowing all the faces of the people chasing after me was seriously making me run fast. I swear the speed I was moving at must have made me look like a blur.

“WAIT ALICE!”

“NO COME BACK!”

“WE JUST WANT AN AUTOGRAPH!”

“Get in here you slut bag.” This voice made me freeze. My lack of movement gave a person I couldn’t see time to grab my arm and yank me sideways and into a bathroom. I heard the door lock behind us. I turned around to see who had pulled me in here. I nearly cried out in surprise.

It was Ned.

Okay, so I had kind of forgotten about Ned. I knew he went to this school obviously but it just hadn’t registered in my mind that he would actually BE here. I had thought about Rose and all those skanky Barbies that went here, but Ned had simply slipped through my mind without a pause.

“So you came back then?” he sneered.

“Well obviously dipshit.” We glared at each other.

“Why? What made you think that you would be welcome here?”

“It wasn’t about whether I was WELCOME here or not it was about me actually finishing my education! I don’t care whether you and Rose have turned on me, I care about the fact that I want to be able to get a proper job!” How dare he…

“GET THE FUCK OUT OF THIS SCHOOL NOW ALICE!” he screamed at me.

I was speechless for a moment. Completely and utterly gobsmacked by the way he just spoke to me. I knew that he had word-abused me at the restaurant that day and on the street the day we broke up, but he had never actually told me to full out ‘fuck off’. It made me lose my temper.

“HOW DARE YOU DRAG ME INTO THIS BATHROOM JUST SO YOU CAN TELL ME TO FUCK OFF! YOU SHOULD BE THE ONE TO FUCK OFF! YOU’RE ONLY ANGRY WITH ME BECAUSE I’M GOING OUT WITH HARRY NOW INSTEAD OF YOU AND YOU HAVE TO HAVE IT SHOVED INTO YOUR FACE EVERYDAY VIA THE INTERNET AND MAGAZINES AND SHIT AND YOU HATE IT! I CAN TELL YOU NOW KNOW THAT I DIDN’T FUCKING CHEAT ON YOU WITH BEN AND NOW YOU’RE FUCKING SORRY THAT YOU BROKE UP WITH ME! I CAN SEE IT IN YOUR EYES, SO DON’T TRY AN D HIDE IT FROM ME!” I screamed. I don’t think I have ever been this angry in my life. It’s a surprise that I haven’t started to slap him silly yet!
