Their 1st night together was a riot.

They walked around the village, until they got tired chasing the sun's golden glow. When dusk started to creep in, they decided to drop in a local tavern for seafood and authentic Greek dishes.

The food was fresh, and has a tangy taste and bitter fresh taste of herbs which Alyssa and Kiefer welcomed. They enjoyed the night, with Alyssa surprised by the loud boisterous voices of the locals, but welcomed the warmth despite their unsmiling faces.

Alyssa and Kiefer were having too much fun, more like kindred spirits rather than lovers, laughing out loud with the locals who were trying to strike conversations, and sharing jokes with them.

And then there was this old lady near the door, sitting, prepping the vegetables on a bowl, picking away. She would glance at them once in a while, which somehow creeped the hell out of Alyssa.

"Kief," Alyssa whispered, "kanina pa talaga siya natingin sa atin. Parang nakakatakot. Parang inaabangan niya tayo. As if may kasalanan tayo sa past life natin."

Kiefer looked at the direction where Alyssa was pointing, and took a sip of his white wine. "Hayaan mo na. Siguro gandang-ganda lang 'yan sa 'yo," he murmured, which earned him a glare from Alyssa. "Ulol mo," she murmured, which made Kiefer snicker.

"Bakit," he looked at her, "Di ka ba naniniwalang maganda ka?"

Alyssa sniffed, "Okay na ako sa pretty. 'Wag na nating isagad at baka may magalit."

Kiefer touched her face with his forefinger. "Maganda ka talaga, Ly," he whispered, coyly, "Ewan ko ba kung bakit ayaw mong maniwala." She sneered, "Bakit ganun kayong mga lalake, magsisinungaling na maganda ang girlfriend, pero hindi naman?"

"Kung hindi ka maganda, bakit ka naman liligawan?" Kiefer grinned, "Tapos ako pa? I have an eye for beautiful ladies..."

"Yun nga e. Bakit ako?" Alyssa searched his eyes, "Sa totoo lang tayo. Hindi ako maganda. Hindi ako tisay. Ang itim ko pa. Laki ng eyebags. At ayoko na i-enumerate kase nakakasama lang ng loob."

Kiefer touched her chin, "Pero maganda ang ngiti mo. Ang ganda ng dimples mo. Yung happiness mo, nakikita sa mga mata mo. Napaka-expressive ng mata mo. At anong masama sa maitim? Ang ganda kaya ng kulay mo. Tama sa beach body mo."

Alyssa rolled her eyes. And Kiefer stole a kiss on her nose. "Ikaw? Anong nakita mo sa akin? Akala ko ba di mo ako type?" he turned the table on her. Alyssa chuckled.

"Alam mo yung napaka-contradictory ng ugali mo, yung nakaka-challenge?" Alyssa grinned. "Akala ko, wapakels ka lang sa buhay, pero yun pala, sobrang passionate mo sa family mo, lalo na kay Grandpa. Akala ko dati, suplado ka, mapagmataas. Pero biglang tutulungan mo ako pag may nararamdaman ko. Tapos grabe pa ang passion mo sa basketball. Akala ko dati, susuko ka na. Kaya kita pinipilit. Pero ayun pala, nag-aantay lang ng right moment," she enumerated.

"Wala pa ba sa listahan mo na guwapo ako, at ang hot ng katawan ko?" he teased her, and Alyssa gave her the once over. "Hmmm... Pwede na rin siguro. Pangit lang talaga ang buhok mo, kaya naiintindihan ko kung bakit ang tagal mong mag-ayos ng buhok mo," she teased him back, "At ang laki ng butt mo."

"Sexy kaya!" he grinned at her, winking with a lick on his lips. Alyssa laughed out loud. "Eeeh... Sa ayoko talaga sa lalakeng malaki ang puwit!" she teased him. Kiefer smiled broadly, "Masarap kaya-"

"Hoy, tigilan mo ako...," Alyssa chuckled, moving backwards, away from him. That's when someone tapped her on the shoulder. "Dance," the man standing beside her said, and Alyssa leaned away from him. "No... No... I don't dance," she said brokenly.
