Kiefer woke up when he heard a knock on the door. He didn't stand up right away, and was surprised to see his beautiful wife with takeout food.

"Hi, there," he whispered at her.

"Good morning," his beautiful wife smiled.

"Ganda nga ng umaga," he coyly replied, and slowly extracted himself from Sarah, whose head was still on his shoulder.

He saw Alyssa look at them with a stoic expression. "Uh, Babe-"

Alyssa shook her head, "It's... It's okay. Kanina pa ako dito, actually. Lumabas lang ulit ako dahil napansin ko wala pala food dito. Baka kase magutom kayo, so nag takeout ako."

"Who drove you here?" he asked. Alyssa arranged the food she brought. "Si Bea. Bumalik na lang din siya," she said, "Grabe ang batang yan! Wala pang tulog, balik trabaho na!"

"Sa bahay siya natulog, or kina Mama?" Kiefer asked, reaching for his wife. He hugged her from behind, and nuzzled her neck. "Sa inyo, kina Mama. Dun daw siya sa guest room natulog," Alyssa said, and turned around to face Kiefer, "Nakatulog ka ba ng maayos?"

"Hinde," he smiled slyly at her, his hands squeezing her hips. He reached down for a kiss, and said, "I missed your lips."

Alyssa dropped her gaze, then shrugged from his embrace. "How's Zitti? Anong oras dadaan ang doctor daw?" she asked, moving towards the baby's crib. Kiefer trailed behind her, and dropped his chin on her shoulder, "Wala namang nabanggit. Why?"

Alyssa was silently tracing her finger on Zitti's arm. "Ang bata pa niya para makaranas ng ma-ospital ng ganito...," she sighed, and turned to look at Kiefer. "Dinalhan na rin kita ng fresh clothes mo, good for 2 days," she said and pointed to a bag on the side of the closet. Kiefer shook his head, "Uwi na ako, sabay na tayo."

"May pasok ako," she said, and he shook his head again, "Babe, hindi pwede ang ganito. Hindi tayo pwede magkahiwalay-"

"Babe, may anak na tayong-"

"Good morning," Sarah murmured, rubbing her eyes.

Alyssa looked at her, then at Kiefer, "Sorry, naistorbo ko tulog mo, Sa. May dala akong food sa inyo."

Sarah smiled at her, then at Kiefer, "Okay lang if you need to go to work, Kief. Tawag na lang ako pag may problema."

"Sige, Sa. Please do that," and he looked at Alyssa, "Let's go?"

Alyssa looked at Sarah, and said, "Sa, okay lang sa akin kung dito pa rin matulog si Kiefer e-"

Sarah shook her head, "No. Okay na ako sa isang gabi."

Just like how it happened... All it took was one night for Zitti to happen.

She took in a deep breath. This... This talking to herself must stop.

"So...," Alyssa pasted a smile on her face, "May work pa ako, I'd better get going. Dadaan ako later, after work." She offered her cheek for a kiss, and turned around to leave, Kiefer at her heels.

"Ly... Babe... Wait up," he hurried tried to catch up on her, struggling with the bag, trying to avoid bumping into people along the way, "Babe..."

Alyssa slowed her steps, mentally berating herself. What is wrong with you? Why the need to feel bad when... When... When you know that they are all in the past...?

"Babe, are you okay?" Kiefer asked, and Alyssa just smiled a fixed one. "Babe," he grabbed her arm, and Alyssa sighed. "I'm going to be late, Babe," Alyssa just made up an excuse. Well, she is really going to be late if they don't move now.
