I desired for blood so bad that night.

I went across the street in search of delicious blood and unintentionally heard someone's desperate voice using my hearing skills. Luckily, it was from this that a strong scent coming from.

I went to try it out before the others.

I was quite perplexed to see her daughter abused by a mother. I mumbled quietly, "Why does she...do that?"

I kept watching until the end.

I never got to meet my parents.

I heard a rumor from someone. They were killed by our former Vampire Queen, because my father broke a rule. Vampires had not been permitted to be in a relationship with a human.

At first sight, my father fell in love with a woman, human.

It made me wonder what it would like to love someone who is opposed to us.

I had no idea how to feel about the situation, feel furious or ashamed of the mother. I wanted to stop her going overboard, but the daughter was fighting back and I admired her for that.

"Hurt me whatever you want and I'm going to be satisfied."

"What? I dare you say that again. Do you not know how much love I have showered you?"

"Selling my body to make money?! What is that love like?"

"Chaeyoung, we needed money."

"You're the one who just wants money."

I fly over to her side quickly and took her hand to stop her bullying of her daughter. Then I pushed her away and shocked her mother, "W-Who are you?"

"Are you not seeing your daughter abused? You're clearly breaking the law, ma'am."

I sensed her daughter tightening her hold on my sleeves, and heard her sobbing softly.

Without knowing, my eyes turned pure brown and overpowered her mother, both her and her mother to become powerless.

What do I do?

I too am becoming fragile because of the excessive use of power and because I was ravenous for blood. I looked hungry at the woman and turned to this girl, whispering something, "I'm sorry, but I've got to do this."

I erased her memories and she went unconscious.

I feel awful to have drunk blood from her mother.

If we drink blood from others, men or women, they are going to die. There was a rumour that I heard about; a human being will not die after a vampire sucked in their blood.

It is love.

At first glance, they fell in love and were destined to be together.

Becoming a soul mate is rare for vampires and humans.

I felt different about this human though.
