When I First Saw You (Park Jimin x Rose)

I wonder how are things going on there with Jimin and Rose.

Everything is okay, right? Am I too worried?

"Don't overthink, Jaebum ssi. It isn't good for your brain."

I gulped nervously as I turned around seriously, "It's up to me to think or not."

She walked in and passed by me as she sat down on the throne, "In the end, they won't last long, Jaebum."

"What? I dare you to say that again."

She smirked in disbelief, "Even you? Why are you taking their sides? Have you perhaps change a little because of Rose?"

"Not only her, Jimin is included."

"Have you forgotten that there are risks of becoming one with humans?"

"Even so, they'll choose to fight for it."

"Vampires and Humans won't get along no matter what."

"Some vampires and humans have had a change of heart because of them. So I believe-"

I coughed harshly as I saw blood on the floor and looked at her, only to see her anger expression. I collapsed onto the floor, unable to move at all because of the deadly poison inside my body.

"You've disappointed me, Jaebum. I thought you're my son."

I coughed up even more, making it even worse and glared at her deadly, "I was never your son. Don't even think about-"

I groaned painfully when deadly poison spread everywhere in my body. 

I can't endure the pain.

"This is what you get for believing humans. Right, the Devil Vampire is real. Do you know who that is? It's Jimin."

I widened my eyes to think that Jimin would be the Devil Vampire.

"H-Help-"

She giggled amusingly, "Who's going to help you? There's only two of us."

My power started to decrease as time goes by and feeling weak, knowing that I'm going to die at anytime. Someone, please help me.

"I'll gladly do that, mate."

Without realizing, I was already up in the air and turned to side and knew who that person was. At that moment, I was happy that I could die peacefully. I smiled weakly and chuckled in relief to see my long best friend, Jinyoung.

"Jinyoung?"

He shook his head harshly and faced me directly with a smile on his face, "You look dead, mate."

"It's good to see you back-" 

I coughed harshly, making Jinyoung worried as he used teleportation far away from the Queen. He brought me to our ex-hideout and healed me with his power, which is no use. I chuckled happily as I brought his hand to my chest, "...Welcome back.."

He wore a forced smile, "I'm sorry...for everything, Jaebum."

"No...I knew you didn't do it on purpose. The demons inside you took over you. There was no way you'd kill the person you loved the most."

"No! S-She was everything you had after I killed your parents."

"But in the end, you changed? That's what matters to me. Seeing you become like that makes my heart shattered into pieces."

Jinyoung gasped sadly as he burst into tears, "Forgive me, Jaebum."

I smiled happily for him as I can finally go to heaven in peace. Before I could do that, I gave him a last words, "Can you do me a favor?"

He nodded his head without looking at me, "Please protect Rose and Jimin at all cost. I'm begging you, Jinyoung."

"I'll do as you say, Jaebum. So-"

He looked up immediately and was overwhelmed to see my eyes closed. Jinyoung hugged me tightly as he lets out everything inside him and cried nonstop, "J-Jaebum, w-wake up! Please...don't leave me..!"

I felt so light. I was really happy to see Jinyoung at last.

He made me gone into heaven peacefully. 

I saw Euna bringing me to the light as she flashed me a smile, "You've done well."
