When I First Saw You (Park Jimin x Rose)

Darkness. I can't see anything. Am I dying?

What happened?

I opened my eyes slowly and I couldn't see well since it was blur. I remembered everything, but I have a gut feeling that something was missing. I feel weird. I stood up with feeling the pain at my head, "How are you feeling?" 

I raised my head, only to see Jaebum leaning onto the wall worriedly. 

"Good, I guess."

"Of course not, you punk! You shouldn't have went after her."

"Rose? Where is she?"

"You don't remember? You were the only one lying down unconscious. Rose was not around."

"I-I can't let Rose disappear from me, Hyung."

"What are you talking about?"

We were interrupted by a sudden appearance, "It was her will to do that, Jimin. She needs to be away from you or she'll kill you because of her grudges on vampires."

"She has awakened her power?"

"Yeah. It's time for us-."

"I'm not going back. I'm staying here."

Jaebum and the Queen widened their eyes surprisingly with my decision. I truly felt that I can't leave Rose alone, "Heh, I forgot you're her soulmate?" 

I glared at her, feeling troubled she'd do something, "What are you planning, bitch?" 

She shrugged her shoulders off and disappeared with a smile on her face, making me stressed out while Jaebum snapped his fingers, "Come to your sense, Jimin. You can't be her soulmate."

"Why's that?"

"Justice Clan and Vampire Clan don't get along."

"So? I'll be the one who'll break the curse between the clans."

"I wish that was easy, but they can't be trusted at all."

"Because they are humans? Just because humans despise us doesn't mean they're all the same. Look at Rose? She's completely different."

"I know, but it's hard to believe. What if she was only acting?"

I shook my head harshly and bet on my life that I am certain of it. 

Rose is a kind person unlike those humans. 

"No, she isn't. I'll prove you all wrong that Rose isn't what you guys think." 

Jaebum chuckled in relief and flicked his finger at my forehead, "Okay, I believe in you."

I was a bit taken back with his sudden personality, "No matter what, always have faith in Rose. Promise me that you won't change because of her, okay?"

I wondered what made him say that, but I nodded my head without hesitation. He left me alone in the nursing room to take a fully rest.

How is she doing? I missed her.

I went to school early because I thought Rose would come early too, which is exactly I predicted. My face lighten up when I saw her beautiful face from far, making me want to fasten my steps but I stopped for a second. A man?

This time, I approached her and pulled her behind me harshly, "Who are you?"

He raised one of his eyebrows, "I could ask you the same thing. Who are you?"

"What?"

"She's my girlfriend. Who are you to touch her like that?"

I turned around shockingly, "G-Girlfriend? Is that true, R-Rose?"

She didn't hesitate to answer back and gave me a poker face, "Yeah." 

"You're lying."

Rose was speechless, "It's the truth. Which part of it is a lie?"

"You're not very sincere to me. Whenever you're telling the truth, you're always sincere."

Then, I was turned back around to face the man and was suddenly punched, making me groaned in pain, "Hey, can't you tell she's speaking the truth? Do you perhaps like her?" 

I was caught off guard and immediately let go of her wrist, "No, I don't. I'm sorry." 

W-What am I doing? I'm a vampire.

The man then shoved me off and took Rose away from me. I clenched my fists and secretly look at Rose, I widened my eyes when she wore that expression. 

What's with those sad eyes?

Unfortunately, I can't do anything to break their relationship.

After all, we're just friends.
