When I First Saw You (Park Jimin x Rose)

Wake up, Ahjussi.

Eyes are closed. The tension is extreme around me. I couldn't tell who's calling me.

Ahjussi. Jaebum is in danger.

I immediately got up after someone reported me about Jaebum, "Jaebum is in danger?" I looked around me, only to find that Jaebum isn't around. I then twirled my body around and was surprised to see her. A girl?

"Who are you?"

"I knew it. You are able to see ghosts, Ahjussi."

"Y-Yeah, I'm quite surprised at myse-"

"Isn't it because of your power?"

"Wait?"

"Hmm?"

"Who are you calling Ahjussi?"

She then pointed it directly towards me, which had me speechless gasped and chuckled in disbelief, "M-Me?! Ahjussi? Excuse me, do I look that old to you?" She then shrugged her shoulders off as she shows no care, "Don't ignore-"

"Hurry and help Jaebum oppa."

"O-Oppa?"

"He's in danger because of me."

"Why?"

"He's fighting someone to get his revenge."

"Isn't that a good thing?"

"But you can never predict what will happen. He could be in danger at anytime."

"What's your relationship with Jaebum hyung?"

She faced me forward and no words is needed. I already know the answer. They're siblings.

"Why do you want me to save him? He's strong unlike me."

She wore a forced smile, "Sometimes, he's weak towards that person. He can't kill that person."

"Who's that person?"

"Jinyoung."

I asked her more questions to resolve the situation nicely.

"The Jinyoung now isn't the one I used to know. He had his reasons to become like this. Please don't kill him. I want you to save him and change him."

"How can I do that? He killed many of ours. Even your family and yourself. Why are you taking his side?"

"Because he's the man that I've always loved."

My eyebrows furrowed in sadness and my tone lowered, "What?"

"It seems Jaebum saw it at the wrong timing. Jinyoung couldn't control his power. He hated himself more than anyone because of me. He didn't want to hurt me at all after killing our parents. He reached his limits."

"Still, he can't hurt vampires because of his guiltiness!"

"It can't be helped, right? You can't easily forget the person you love the most. It damages him the most because of his uncontrollable power. Therefore, he ended up hurting more people than just myself."

"What can I do? I'm not strong enough to stop-"

She approached toward me and gave me the power with a smile on her face, "We all believe that you're the one who'll change the world along with that woman out there."

I raised my head quickly and she was gone. I clenched my fist and transport myself to Jaebum to catch him quickly and healed him. 

I heard him blaming himself for failing, which I smiled sadly.

No, it wasn't a failure. You did well.

I fastened myself up in the air with my wings and saw Jinyoung on the rooftop. He was looking so confident to kill me. Deep inside, he looks so pitiful. No matter how much I hated him, I can't hurt him because he had his reasons.

"Stop this at instant, Jinyoung."

"Who are you to stop me?"

"Someone asked me. It's someone that you know very well, Euna."

His eyes widened shockingly and groaned painfully, making me wonder if it's the memories that hurting him badly. I went furthermore to attack him emotionally and mentally.

"Euna, wasn't she your first love?"

He felt another pain as he used his power to erase his memory again, "Shut up!"

"You killed her, didn't you?"

"No, I didn't!"

"Isn't that why Jaebum is fighting you to get his revenge for Euna?"

"You're wrong!!"

I saw him aiming his sword to his heart, preparing to kill himself, which I was quick brushing off his weapon with my power. He held his head tight to forget his sins.

"I've come here to let you know that Euna never stop believing in and loving you."

"I said shut up!!"

"Listen or you won't ever hear this from anyone! She knew you couldn't control your power! She knew you didn't want to hurt her because she was all Jaebum had and the person you loved. She never once blame you for that accident. She wanted you to know that it wasn't your fault that she died."

"That's a lie... There's no way Euna would forgive someone like me!"

"Of course she will because you're the one that she has always loved!"

It reached. It finally reached him. 

Euna's feelings reached him as he immediately collapsed on his knees with the tears in his eyes. I landed on the rooftop and walked towards him until words came out from him, "I never want that to happen. I never want to be like this."

"Why...did you do it then?"

"I thought that if I become like this, I won't feel something like that again."

"You do know that she wouldn't like it?"

"I know, but I couldn't help it. If a single of her popped out of my mind, I'd kill someone randomly."

"Then what about Rose?"

"Rose... She's nothing compared to Euna, but she reminds me of her."

"Is that why you're attacking me because you didn't want to give her away?"

"That's right."

"She's not Euna. Euna is right in front of you."

I used my power to restore her soul in order for him to see and communicate with her. Jinyoung was filled of emotions when he saw her as if he has been longing to see her, "E-Euna."

I was awestruck at her smile. She only gave her beautiful smile to the person she loved. I was relieved and became serious at the thought of Rose's mother.

Is that how she felt when she attacked me? 

Getting revenge for her mother? 

Is that how it is, Rose?
