I lost track of the hours I've been stuck in this cell. The last thing I remember from the outside world was fighting beside Percy. Oh, Percy. He was the only thing that kept me going through these hallucinations. I needed to get back to him. I needed him. But I was helpless, no power or knowledge of Athena could get me out of this situation. My arms were somehow chained behind my back, I could sense they were metal. My vision was gone, all I was seeing was nightmare after nightmare. It was terrifying.

There was a pair of beady reds eyes staring at me through the darkness. The creature moved a hairy black leg out of the black backdrop, as the rest of its seven legs followed pursuit. Its gigantic hairy body came out into the light, and I recognized her.

Arachne

"We meet again daughter of Athena." She spat.

My foot was stuck in a crack on the broken ground. Spiders started to form out of the darkness, and they crawled towards me.

I couldn't move.

I screamed, and cried. But no one could hear me.

The Fuzzy Demons came closer, and soon they enveloped my body. I tried to take a breath, but I couldn't. Their creepy crawly legs touched every part of my skin. I was suffocating. I tried to move, to roll over, anything to get me out.

Then, I was falling.

I landed right back into Tartarus. The blood red sky loomed over me. The memories of this horror house were all too familiar.

"No, no, no." I backed away, "NO! PLEASE, I-I can't do this again!"

The air was already making me sick to my core. I was gasping for oxygen; a luxury I didn't have anymore. There were red blisters that started to ooze on my skin. My Camp Half-Blood shirt was in shreds, with blood soaking it from wounds I didn't know existed on my body. The pain washed over me like a plane crash. I needed to get out of this nightmare.

I made an effort to move my twisted ankle, and grimaced. It hurt more then it should've. I pulled myself in the opposite direction, hoping that I'd find the Phlegethon again. The hard ground scraped my knees as I attempted to crawl. There was no better alternative at this point in time.

After what felt like hours I heard a voice.

"Annabeth?" Asked a deep voice.

I turned my head upwards and saw him. Percy Jackson, my Seaweed Brain. He was standing up without a scratch, looking so dam good. His black hair was in its typical messy state. His sea green eyes were wide open. His lips were formed into a smile that radiated happiness in my heart.

It was almost too good to be true.

"Seaweed Brain!" I exclaimed

I jumped up, ignoring all the pain. I wrapped my arms around him. Taking warmth in his embrace. He took away all my pain and agony.

"I missed you!" I smiled.

"I'm right here." He affirmed. "Always and forever Wise Girl."

"I love you Percy." I said, tears in my eyes.

"I love you too." He replied.

And we kissed. My heart was beating a mile a minute. It felt like fireworks. My desire for Percy grew deep in my core. I needed him.

At that moment the ground started to shake. Percy pulled away.

"Annabeth we need to get to the Doors of Death." He said, grabbing my hand. "We have to close them ASAP!"

I started to run after Percy. The pain was pulsing in my ankle, coursing all through my body.

Finally, the open Stygian Iron doors came into view. They were black and silver with Art Deco designs. The Doors of Death really were quite beautiful if you look at them through an architect's eyes.

At that moment Tartarus rose.

I was in the elevator.

"It's either me or you Annabeth and I-I can't let it happen to you." Percy started.

"You can't decide it for me!" I cried. "Just- just let me stay with you!"

"I'm sorry Annabeth." Said Percy.

He leaned in and kissed me, but then I couldn't feel his lips on mine anymore. He fell backwards, blood staining his t-shirt, spreading like a fever. His beautiful sea green eyes lost all life.

I broke.

I collapsed to my knees.

"PERCY!" I screamed, "NO, NO, NOO!"

"You thought he could get away alive young demigod?" Tartarus Cackled. "You thought wrong."

The Doors closed, as I cried gruesome tears. The fell down my face like paint, marking my shattered heart.

When the Doors opened I was greeted with a familiar face.

Luke.

His eyes weren't blue, they were a scary golden. His blond hair was matted with sweat on his head. He held Blackbitter, and was inching towards me. A sneer on his face.

"I will crush you child!" Kronos bellowed.

"You won't," I said. "You promised. Luke, you're holding Kronos back even now."

"LIES!" He yelled.

He struck me backwards. I couldn't move. Kronos raised Blackbitter.

And brought the sword down right through my chest.

"Family, Luke," I sputtered. "You promised."

The pain in my chest burned, as if it were on fire. Blood was blossoming across my shirt.

I took my last shaky breath, as the darkness came and swept me away.

(A/N: I will be using some of the book quotes for these hallucinations. I already used a few familiar ones in this chapter. Hope you survived this Annabeth torture. Sorry... Vote! Comment! And Enjoy! The rest of "Broken")
