All of a sudden I felt grass underneath my legs. Is this an other illusion? Or reality? Somehow I could tell the difference, but it still was hard to not believe what I was seeing. So much pain. So, so much pain and suffering was brought back from the depths of my nightmares.

I opened my eyes. They felt so dry. It was as if all the moisture was drained from them. I blinked a couple of times. My hands were no longer bound by chains. I felt my sore wrists as I looked around. There were trees, so many trees. Their green tops seemed to laugh at me. A few streams of sunlight peeked out from the trees. There were vines slung across the leaves. I could hear seagulls. That seemed so out of place. I stood and spun around. This has to be an illusion right? My skin was crawling, as if it anticipated a spider attack already. My train of thought was zooming at a mile a minute. I could possibly sharpen those branches to form some sort of weapon, but only if I could reach them. Or maybe—

My thoughts were cut off with a voice.

"Welcome children." Boomed a deep voice.

At that moment a wide screen appeared above the trees. I angled myself on top of a tree stump to get a better view.

Wait a second. Was that an Archimedes Sphere?

"You have been very naughty." Cackled the man with dirty blond, feathery hair. He had scars and burns on his tan face. They bridged his nose, and trailed down his cheek.

"So this is your punishment." Added the third one. He was bald with blood red eyes. His skin was a dark shade of brown, almost red.

"Finish the test to get off of the island-" Started the person who had red eyeballs. His skin was dark as the night. He had bleached white hair that was gelled over.

"-And you will be freed." Said the scarred one.

"You have our word." Said the bald one.

"LIKE HELL!" Cursed a familiar feminine voice.

That sounded like Sadie Kane. But how? Was this a nightmare about her? But I haven't seen her in six months... Paranoia crept into me.

"Let The Games Begin." Proclaimed the scared one as the screen dissolved.

I climbed down the stump. Nothing made any sense to me. And that's a first.

"Okay Annabeth," I started pacing. "Let's case the situation. Is this a nightmare? Most likely. But I've never lived in a moment on an island, so how is that possible?"

     My Athenian Brain was stuck.

"UGH!" I screeched, louder than I expected to.

"Who's there?" Questioned a familiar voice.

     "Percy?"

My heart skipped a beat. The world stopped spinning as the love of my life emerged from the bushes. Percy. My Seaweed Brain.

I tackled him with a hug. Tears started to spill out of my eyes.

"Are you real?" I asked. This was a miracle.

"I'm pretty sure Wise Girl." He chuckled, laying on the grass.

I got up in a haste, realizing that I was on top of him. My cheeks started to heat up.

"Sorry." I said, staring at my feet.

"My spine may be broken, but it's nothing compared to how happy I am to see you, Annabeth." He said my name with so much love, as I looked into his beautiful sea green eyes. "I thought, I thought that you might've been d-d-dead."

Tears started to brim his eyes.

     He looked so broken.

I pulled him into my arms.

"I'm right here Seaweed Brain." I comforted. "I'm right here, and I'll never leave you again."

I hoped with all my heart that I could keep that promise, as tears kept falling from both of our eyes.

I pulled away from the hug, immediately missing his body on mine.

He started to lean in towards me. I closed the gap between us. Our lips moved in sync. My hands were tangled in his jet black messy hair. His hands were pulling me closer to him.

     We pulled away.

Our foreheads were touching, as we started breathing heavily. My eyes were shut.

"I love you." He sighed. My heart stopped.

     "I love you too."
