After that hot make out session with my (even) hotter girlfriend I went back to my cabin to change out of my sea salt smelling, wet Camp shirt. I passed the Athena Parthenos on my way back. What surprised me was the amount of destruction one statue could wreak. I went to hell and back because of it.

When I opened the door I was greeted with my very messy cabin. Okay, messy was an understatement. As Annabeth likes to put it, it was "A Filthy Pigsty That Looked Like The Underworld Manned by Someone Who Is Too Lazy To Lift A Finger To Help The Current State of Chaos." It's not my fault I'm too busy trying to save the world. I don't know how Annabeth does it. She cleans her room, and still has time to slay a couple hundred monsters. With everything that was happening with Gaea I had no time to "pick up." It's not like I had anyone else who used this cabin. I shrugged on a Black T-Shirt and Khaki Shorts, tossing my old clothes on the floor. Gaea. I hated that deity more then anything else in the world. My hate towards Hera seemed petty compared to her. Because of her so many people died. But I felt a lot of hatred towards myself too. My nose bleed started the apocalypse! Who does that!? If I was smarter, faster, or stronger Leo might've still been here. He was just an annoying teammate when we were on the Argo II, but now I wish more then ever that I could hear him crack another dumb joke. I was filled with anger. My fist went right through the wall, creating a hole. It was all my fault. All. My. Fault.

I was stopped when tan arms wrapped around my torso from behind.

"Percy, sweetie, take deep breaths." Annabeth's soothing voice cooed.

I turned around. There she was. Annabeth. The calm to my storm. Her hair was out of her usual pony tail. Her blonde curls were cascading down her shoulders. She was wearing a gray loose top, her owl earrings glistening. Her gray eyes were filled with worry as she looked at my bloody fist.

"C'mon, Perce." She said, wiping away tears I didn't know I had. "It wasn't your fault."

Annabeth went to my restroom and returned with a wet rag and bandages. She went to work wiping the blood from my fist first. Annabeth started to wrap the bandage around my hand.

"You know that's a lie." I whispered, "if it weren't for my dam nosebleed Leo would've still been here!"

"We can't measure what if's. How do you think I feel? I'm the one who's blood was sacrificed first!" Her voice raised to a yell, as tears started to flow out of her eyes.

I pulled Annabeth in for a hug.

"Everything's going to be fine. Everything is okay now. Nothing was your fault. We will be okay." I kept repeating these words trying to believe them each time. Even though I knew that the chances of them being true were too slim.

Once we were all cleaned up we headed out for the Dining Pavilion. My arm was slung over Annabeth's shoulder. I saw Piper, Jason, Hazel, Frank, and Nico sitting together. Chiron was temporarily letting us all sit at the Poseidon table. Annabeth and I sat down next to our friends. Reyna had to go back to Camp Jupiter, and Thalia was grieving with the rest of the Hunters of Artemis. Grover was coming back to visit tomorrow. The mood was sad in our little corner.

"Hey." Annabeth sighed.

There was a chorus of heys and hellos back. The food kept us all occupied from too much conversation. Until Hazel spoke up.

"Remember when we were eating in New Rome, and Leo literally blew the place up?" She laughed, nostalgia fogging up her eyes.

"Yes!" Started Jason, "I will never forget how mad Annabeth was!"

"Oh come on, I wasn't that mad." Stated Annabeth.

"Says the woman with a death glare that could kill millions." I mumbled as I felt Annabeth punch my shoulder.

Soon everyone was laughing. There was no more silence.  I laughed so hard that I spit out my blue Diet Coke! All of us were filling up the empty space with memories of Leo, and our quest to defeat Gaea.
