Annabeth POV~ "Moral Of The Story, Don't Drink Shady Water Kids."

Percy looked at me with concern after Piper finished talking. He knew that something was going on with me after the whole Luke episode, but he didn't know exactly what. It was a relief to know that I wasn't the only one going crazy, but I was angered at the fact that we had to go through this in the first place. Can't we ever get a break? It was never our faults that we were in this mess, it always comes back to the gods. Reliving the worst parts of my life wasn't something I enjoyed doing.

"You're right Piper." Zia finally spoke up in a small voice.

I knew that no girl here would ever easily admit their weaknesses, because that's who we are. That's who we were shaped to be by fate.

"How do we stop it?" Asked Frank.

"I don't think we can." I admitted. "I ran over all possibilities, and answers. To be honest, there are no easy solutions."

"You're such a Debby Downer." Piper laughed to ease the mood.

"You know it." I smiled.

"So, moving on from this topic, you were saying Leo?" Reyna said.

     "Well, after the first part of the weird broadcast, the Games hosts came on-screen to deliver their generic Villain speech." Explained Leo.

"They call themselves the Legion of Doom." Added Percy.

"And they the Legion consists of Seth, Loki, and Khaos." Listed Walt.

"The creepy part was the audience. There were evil creatures from all of the mythological universes listening and clapping." Magnus shivered.

"Then they started to pick out "random-" Leo gestured using air quotes, "-names from their helm of darkness."

     "It was a black top hat." Percy blatantly stated.

     "Hey, I'm just adding a little Leo signature spice to the story." Leo put his hands up. "So they picked out seventeen names, and it was all random, of course. The names were Magnus, Sam, Alex, Blitzen, Hearthstone, Carter, Zia, Sadie, Walt, Sparky, Beauty Queen, Aquaman, Cali, Death Breath, Reyna, Miss Brainiac, and me of course."

"And that's the most unpredictable grouping ever." Alex said sarcastically.

"That's what I said!" Magnus exclaimed.

"Speaking of Sparky, where is he?" Frank asked.

"So, funny story," Nico started. "I was walking around when I found Grace, and he was actually high. Apparently he drank some of the river water and now his mind is super screwed up."

     "Moral of the story, don't drink shady water kids." Percy stated. "Also, Pipes didn't you and Leo see him?"

     "Yeah, he helped us escape the giant fox and dog." Leo said.

      "What giant fox and dog?" I asked.

     At that moment I heard a stream of cursing in a British accent. Those were words that my mother wouldn't have approved of. I turned around and saw none other then Sadie and Carter Kane running towards us.

     "RUN! NOW!" Sadie came to a stop in front of us as she put her hands on her knees. "Giant— fox—will—kill."

     "Slow down." Percy said, as the rest of us stood up, ready for anything.

     "The Giant Fox and Dog is coming closer. We need to go some place else." Carter stated standing next to Sadie.

     Carter's gaze turned towards the rest of the group, until it finally landed on Zia. Her eyes started to water.

     "Walt." Sadie gasped.

     She ran into his arms, as they shared a kiss.

     Carter and Zia started towards each other. He hugged her tight, as if she was the only thing anchoring him to this world.

     "Zia, oh how I've missed you." Carter showered her in kisses.

     "As cute as this is, if what Sadie and Carter say is true, we NEED to get out of here." Piper gushed.

     I started to hear howling and growling.

     "Where to?" Hazel asked.

     "We'll figure that out later when we're safe." I stated. "Let's move."

     "Come on Jason!" Sadie yelled.

     Jason Grace started descending from wherever he was sitting in the sky in a very relaxed way. It was as if his life wasn't in danger. His eyes were glazed over, and he had a childish facial expression.

     "Huh." Magnus looked up, "I wish I could say that was the weirdest thing that happened to me today."
