Epilouge~ Annabeth POV

      "Don't worry Annabeth, I will always find my way back to you."

      "...I will always find my way back to you."

      "...Back to you."

      Slash, hack, kill. Slash, hack, kill. It was a mantra in my head playing on repeat. I was currently fighting monsters on the border of camp. It took my mind off of what happened on that terrible island. I refused to be healed. I refused to sleep. I refused to eat. And I refused to let the Legion of Doom take away everything from me. I was either fighting or in the Underworld with Nico sitting in front of the gates of Tartarus waiting for him. I knew that he wasn't dead. Otherwise, I would've known by now. 

      Leo was fighting with me. He kept on saying that it was all his fault, and everyone kept assuring him that it wasn't. He doesn't believe the others tough. Not for a minute. This island has left permanent scars on us. I'm not sure what to do anymore. What if Percy really is dead? What will I do? I'm spiraling, and I can't stop myself from getting sucked in. The others have gone back to their homes in hopes of winning against the enemy there. The gods are silent as usual, and so many people have congratulated me on my engagement. Luckily I have my friends and they tell those campers that don't know the truth, and I hear it every day. But I don't want to accept it as a truth. 

      Sally Jackson came down the other day since Chiron called her. She held me as we both cried for hours upon hours. I don't know who I've become, and I can't even recognize myself in the mirror. My blonde hair is always matted with dried sweat and blood. There are bags under my eyes and dried up tear tracks. I pray to the gods every day, but to no avail. Yet, again they leave us to fend for ourselves in this terrible world. I feel so trapped and so alone.

      All of us are broken, and I don't know if any of us can be fixed.
