Smoke
10th of March, 2014
A little over a month passes since my first day of school and things didn't get better during that time. I still get beat up but not just by James anymore, by many other kids as well. I go for Therapy like I was asked and I see Mr Sutton at least 2 to 3 times a week.I become more and more bitter and find most other people becoming more and more annoying, however, there are surprisingly a few people I don't mind so much.
Emerald keeps hanging around me and dragged me into his group of friends which have a wolf named Nikita Midnight, who has blue fur with black around her eyes and a red marking going down her snout, she also has brown hair with small shines of blue and a splash of red at the end of her tail. Nathan and David are both identical, kangaroo twins, they both are light orange with white faces and black hair, although one has spiked and the other has long and smooth mid length hair. Finally, Tiana Fraizer, the thylacine from my first day joined our group after a time.
I sit in art on a desk of my own, drawing till I hear my teacher
"alright everyone, we have a new student who just flew in from America, say hello to Cloudy Adams" I look up to see a fox standing at the front of the class, fur white as snow and eyes as beautiful and bright as the ocean, her white hair tied at the back and her fringe is cut around her eyes
"hello everyone, I hope I can get to know some of you and even make some good friends" she says with a noticeable American accent. I merely put my head back down to see my picture before I get out my MP3 and put my earbuds in. Good thing the class just started, more time to draw and listen to music I think as I put my pencil back on my page, ignoring the world around that rejects me.
Cloudy
I look around the room for a free spot, kids pull their bags off chairs and drop to the floor, but one lonely boy acts ... well ... different. I decide to go and sit next to him, causing shock among everyone else, even causing some kids to sigh or start to whisper as I walk up to the lonesome wolf. I notice his leather jacket, finding it sorta strange, not just because he's out of uniform but also because it's a nice day considering it's fa- oops, I mean autumn. I tap on the boy's shoulder, causing him to pull out an ear bud and look to me, his yellow eye was sort of ... empty, almost like there was no emotion in it.
"umm, can I please sit here?" I politely ask, he just nods and I sit down. I look to see his drawing of an original character
"that's really good" I say, he looks to me before shrugging it off
"thanks" he says, sounding flat and empty, almost like his emotionless and empty eye. I hold up a paw "I'm -"i begin before he cuts me off
"don't, you will just end up like the rest" I look in confusion as i wonder what he means.
I look on a corner of his picture to see some writing Smoke Greypaw it says. I turn to Smoke
"you have a nice name" I say, trying to express my interest and brighten his mood a little, he looks at me for a moment then back to his picture
"thanks" he replies as I get my stuff out and started to draw a picture of my own stuff. however, I can't help but wonder about what goes through Smoke's head, what made him like this? Did I do something to upset him? Can I help him? I asked these questions as I colour in an old picture I have drawn till the end of the lesson.
