Smoke

I follow the lead of the guard into a room that looks rather similar to an eating area. Aside from the 2 guards on either side of the door on the opposite side of the room, only one other person besides me sits and waits at a table in the centre of the large room. A pure grey wolf with yellow eyes, Her grey hair, cut to mid length and brushed smoothly.

The wolf wears an orange prison uniform and sits handcuffed to the table that she sits at. She looks up at me and smiles a little, I just glare at her with nothing but hatred within me as I sit across from her.

"You're looking good, Smoke" she says

"No thanks to you and Marcus" I snap

She looks at me with slight shock before shifting to sadness.

"Listen, I'm not sorry for how you have turned out but I'm sorry about what I ... no ... what we did, I'm sorry for both of us" the she wolf begins " I know you won't forgive us, but even you should agree that you should see your mother one more ti-" I cut her off with a sudden burst of laughter.

"Don't ... just don't" I laugh before showing my rage "you stopped being my mother a long time ago, Zoey!".

Zoey keeps her gaze fixed on me

"Smoke, please liste-" she starts before I cut her off again

"No, you listen, ten years, TEN FUCKING YEARS I put up with the beatings, the crimes, the fights. I had no friends, I was against the world, fuck, I even put a ten year old kid in a critical state because he was bad mouthing you, I stole for you and every time something went wrong, I was the one who had the shit beat out of me by you and that alcoholic asshole!" I yell "I can never get back those ten and a half years, I can never undo the self inflicted scars, the pain I suffered, all those years and I developed a deep depression, suicidal tendencies and a hatred for almost everyone, I hope your fucking proud of yourself, because it was you and HIM who did this!".

Zoey looks at me more horrified then before. She clearly tries her hardest to hold back tears as she adds "I'm nearly done with my rehabilitation" she says, trying to remain strong. I get up "well, good for you, you're gonna be clean for a whole week before jumping right back into the habit again, hopefully I won't ever see you again anyway" I say before I walk back to the guard who brought me here

"get me out of here" I say  in anger, the guard nods before escorting me back to the reception.
