Admit the Truth

Eclair

It had been a couple hours which we all sat in silence, lounged around the store. No one even dared to speak a word, for no one wanted to start up another argument. The tension in the room was high as we spoke through our glares. Trevor and I were throwing each other nasty looks from across the room. If we spoke, we'd only argue. To prevent from being shooed out of the house in the now pouring rain, this was the best choice out of all of the above.

The only noise that occupied the room was the noise of Winry cutting metal up in Trevor's 'room' (better known as his mastermind dark dungeon in the second floor layer where he has his equipment set up) creating a new leg for the fluffy white dog, Cloud.

In the meantime, Cloud curled up in a ball and had decided to cuddle himself up next to Al's cat. Where he had picked up this cat, I still had no entire clue, but it was a different one from before. This one was orange, the one earlier looked more like a zebra.

"Hey can someone help me how to use this thing? I haven't used something as archaic as this before." Winry slammed open the door to Trevor's mastermind dark dungeon in the second floor layer where he had his equipment set up. I had gone up there to help her earlier. She just simply told me what to get her, so I got it for her. I've never seen anyone in quite the mood though, one word and she'd snap. This leg was really going to be a masterpiece.  Nothing could go wrong. She was down-proving a mechanic here.

"Fine I'm coming." Trevor moaned as he threw me one more dirty look before he headed upstairs. His auburn hair was full of grease. I guess when we came in he was working harder than I originally anticipated since I just fully noticed the black grease in his hair.

Trevor's father checked the clock and sighed before he grabbed his coat and headed for the door, "I told the Mayor I'd meet him for afternoon tea in ten minutes, Eclair take care of the place for me, would you?"

"You know I'm not staying long," I commented, "Plus you remember the last night you left me in charge."

"I know, it's just a figure of speech, just be nice to Trevor. You two are practically brother and sister. Try to act like a civilized person for once."

I shrugged and exhaled deeply, "I'll try, I'll try," before I hopped down from where I was sitting on the counter top of the sales counter. Trevor's father left the shop without another word, and I let out a long sigh.

Al, being inquisitive from where he was sitting silently against the stairs, questioned my prior words, "What happened last time you were in charge?"

"Nothing!" I blurt out rather too quickly, making my words look suspicious, "Nothing happened at all, actually I don't quite remember why I said that in the first place now." I nervously scratched the back of my head.

"Well something obviously happened if you're acting like that," Vapor concluded. She was silently sitting by Cloud and the cat, I almost forgot she was there.

"Nothing happened at all." I denied again. The truth was, I did know what happened. I knew it too well. To the point of I didn't even want to admit it.

I mean, who wants to admit when they did the worst possible thing that was absolutely forbidden to the point of we don't even bring it up because it's absolutely positively forbidden? Who wants to admit that at all?

"You did it, didn't you?" Ed concluded, standing up from where he sat comfortably at the table. It was as if I was in an interrogation room now. I probably deserved it anyway.

"Did what?" I asked him, denying the fact I knew damn well what I did.

"El, did you really do it?"
