The Story's Already Begun; We Can't Retrace Our Steps Anymore

Eclair's POV

"It's done" I said. We both get into a sitting position. Sitting next to each other.

"Ready to do this?" Ed asks me. I close my eyes and nod. There was nothing left to worry about. We were going to die anyway. We still didn't know where they were. Nor could we hear them well.

"Well, if this is goodbye, thanks, Fullmetal. You are very worthy of your state alchemist title"

"If this is goodbye, thank you, Halfmetal. You are worthy of your title as well." Ed tells me. We high-five each other with our metal hands before shaking them.

"Now, let's do this!" I say, as we get into a position to do the alchemy.

"Let's do this."

Ayumi's POV

"Are you sure it's this way?" I asked The state Alchemist who was escorting Vapor, Cloud, Al, and I by horse out here in the storm. Cloud was sniffing the ground trying to find them. He suddenly barked loudly, and took of running.

"That way!!" Vapor shouted. We all Lead our horses after the sprinting dog. But soon it was apparent that they were there, because a big transmutation circle glew a blue then red.

"Al, can you tell what they are doing?!" I shouted. Al took the horse and bolted in front, not waiting for orders. Her shouted, "Stop! Don't do it Ed, El!!!"

"No, they can't be. Why? How?" Rin stated in shock.

"You can see that?"

"No, I can feel it. It's strong. It's bad. It's it's-"

"Stop stuttering. Save your words. I have a feeling this is going to be a long night." Vapor told. We road forward.

"Do you know what's going on?" I asked Vapor.

"I don't know, but we're about to find out"

It was a two hour ride from Resembool here, going as fast as we could go. Probably a day or two's walk. It started getting hilly around here.

"It's Human Transmutation" Rin Night finally spoke. Vapor and I gasped.

"But they both already paid the price, and already knew against it!" Vapor shouted.

"Once you mess something up, it's alot easier and alot less dangerous the second time. That still is forbidden, but they must have their reasons."

"HOW COULD THEY HAVE REASONS FOR THE THINGS THAT MADE THEM THE WAY THEY ARE RIGHT NOW?!" Vapor screamed. I looked at her. She was crying. "They did it, both of them to bring back their dead parent they loved, both times failed. And now....now they're doing it again?! For what reason?!?! If they're already not dead, then they're gonna be!"

"Alphonse" I say in a low voice. "They're doing it for Alphonse"
