Do You Remember?

Eclair

We get up the next morning and head straight on for it. We couldn't stop now. We had to get there. that was the last thing we had to do.
But a new question dawned upon me. It puzzled me, to the point of I had to stop walking, and just think.
What were we going to do after this?
Would we even see each other after this?
"El, what's holdin' you up?" Ayumi asked, as the rest stop and turn.
"Just thinkin' what are we gonna do after this?"
"That's a good question" Vapor reasoned. Cloud barked. "I've been traveling so long I forgot all 'bout it."
"I don't know" Al said.
"Well, after this, we probably won't see each other anymore. Ed and Al will travel together, Trevor'd go back home, I'd be back on my own, Vapor and cloud would do what they do, Yumi'd go back with Trevor, and Winry'd go back where she's from."
"Yeah....we may never even see each other anymore." Ed looks deprived at the ground like the rest of us. Even if we see each other again, it'd be a 'Hey! Do you remember when we...' moment.
"If we do leave each other like that, you promise to at least get together and visit every once and a while?"
"Of course!" I shouted rather loud. "We have to get together somehow. We're like family to each other."
"Agreed" Everyone agreed. We got hyped up to press forward and see the end of this sooner or later.

Vapor

"You smell anything, Cloud? I ask. The dog keeps it's nose on the ground without making a noise from the jingle of it's collar. The dog's mind's determined. She wanted to find this place before the others. Like a good dog.
"Hey, Cloud's pretty into this" Trevor came over to me saying.
"Yep. Likes it alot. We travel alot."
"Where do you go?"
"Anywhere we can get our next meals from."
"But is there anywhere that you enjoy going?"
"Yeah. Where the rest of you guys are going. It's more fun traveling with a group of people."
"I guess. It's always nice to have company. Even if you hate their guts sometimes."
"Even?"
"Even."

Eclair

Arf! Arf! Cloud barked. We were almost there. We took a short break where Winry and Trevor fixed our auto-mail so it didn't break as easily. This wasn't gonna be easy, but we had to do our best to win. There wasn't another chance like this.
"You ready?" Ed asked me, while I made sure my auto-mail worked.
"I hope so." I told him. There was no use for acting tough. We all were going no matter what, and gonna fight no matter what. We had no choice.
"Promise me, that we'd get to see each other again after this" I told him. I was afraid of not seeing him because we'd have things in two different directions.
"I promise...." He told me. I had noticed he's grown an inch since we first met. Was a bit taller.
"You know you've grown a bit since I met you?"
"I....have?"
"Yup. You're still not as tall as me, but you're getting there." I smile. Ed smiled back at me, as we continued on.
