Eclair's POV

"I'll look in the window, and swing through, and get in first, you come in from the other side, and cover me, but first..." I layed down on my stomach, and looked down into the window. I saw the man driving the train, and I stuck my tongue out at him. He jerked, almost driving the train out of control, and I clapped my hands to rid the window of glass, swinging in head first, landing on my feet, as Ed did the same. We surrounded the man who had a gun, and was trembling.

"Ya know what, I was hoping for a nice nap on the way back to central, but I think you guys picked the wrong train ta mess with" I say, as the guy trembles.

"The fullmetal, and halfmetal alchemists!!!!" He then opens the door, and throws himself out. Probably killed himself, or hurt himself. I open the large over-sized chest on the ground, and found the real train conductor tied up in it. We let him free, so he could steer the train, which neither one of us knew how to do.

"Thanks you two, what did you say your names were?"

"I'm the Fullmetal Alchemist, and She's-"

"I'm the Halfmetal Alchemist."

"You two make quite a good pair, you're not related by any chance, are you?"

"No, sorry, were not" I say, as I turn my back to go back to the train car. Ed follows me, as we open the door, and start hopping between cars again.

We stop in an empty train car, where no one was, and Ed grabs my auto-mail arm.

"What?" I ask, noticing that the car began to feel very small.

"You lost this" He hands me a screw that had fallen out of my arm. I look at my arm, finding where it had fallen out of. Grabbing it from him, I put it where it belonged, and used alchemy to tighten it in.

"Thanks" I say, putting on a slight smile, before continuing on. What little things make us happy. Finding a screw that could somehow wind up to it missing could cost me my life.

It's the small things that count, right?

We make it back to the train car, and Winry comes up hugging the two of us. "You guys are okay!"

"Yeah, why wouldn't we?" I ask, putting on a sly smile, as we went back to sit down, returning to our conversation about alchemy. I felt the stair of others on my back, as if it was burning, but I ignored it. Whispers and rumors filled the air, about who we were, using alchemy to professional measures when we were so young. All the rumors we don't need. These were new today.

"Who are you may I ask?" Some guy said, brave enough to ask us. Everyone got silent.

"Your guardian angel" I remarked, as Ed said, "I'm the fullmetal alchemist, and she's the halfmetal alchemist." Everyone then nodded. They knew who we were, the just didn't know who we were. heh, contradicting.

"The halfmetal alchemist is a girl? That's the fullmetal alchemist? He's so short!" Is what we heard, but I grabbed Ed's arm, as he grabbed mine, so we didn't snap, and hurt the people, even though our faces read we wanted to show these 'punks who's boss 'round here.
