James eventually made it back to his room, earlier he thought he had heard his sister's and a crow's voice coming from behind. But he just dismissed it and he soon went to bed.
"I am such a failure, I'm not born with this type of skill and talent" said James as he threw his sword away.
"But you are born with it" said Bloom as she picked up his sword and sat near him.
"Don't lie to me, you saw me. Give me proof of this talent and maybe I'll believe it" said James.
Bloom wished she could show James who he really was but there was a part of her that still didn't want him to remember his hard times and what he went through.
"..........That's what I thought, now please...........just leave me alone. I don't deserve you, I never did" said James as he turned over.
Bloom just went to bed and stared at James sadly before closing her eyes.
"James...........how much have you lost?" wondered Bloom.
Next day
James crashed onto the ground after getting blasted, looking up...he could see his opponent cheering up above him in the air.
"Alright that's enough, James...take a breather" said Griselda.
Sighing and groaning, James picked up and dragged his sword with him. As James moved on, he could hear the fairies whispering about him.
"That was easy" said James's opponent.
"Of course it was, he was your opponent after all" said another fairy.
"Yeah, I'm sure the other guys like the ones at Red fountain would put up a much better fight even though they'll still lose to us" said her friend.
"Why is he even here? This is a fairy school and also a girls boarding school. He's not one of us, he probably got a hold of some fake transcripts in order to enroll here and peep at us" said the fairy next to her.
"What?! No!" gasped a curious fairy.
James just sadly shook his head and made his way outside. He just made his way towards the approaching shuttle bus and boarded it. He was soon on his way to Magix city.
Upon getting off of the bus, James made his way towards the cafeteria where everyone said that the coffee there was the best. As he continued walking, he could see the statues of the winx in the middle of a nearby park.
James felt sad just looking at them, they were all heroes and everyone knew who they were. He wanted to be one as well, especially since he was the older sibling to a famous and heroic younger sister. The pressure was on him to live up to his family name and prove that he deserves to stand by such an iconic guardian fairy.
Nearby girls just sighed while looking at the statues and everyone else were snapping pictures. People would kill for an autograph, or even a picture.
However for just a split second, James could have sworn that he had saw a statue of himself in the middle of the park instead of the girls. Rubbing his eyes, he could once again see the statues of the winx and that brought him back to reality.
"Must just be my imagination, I'm seeing what I want to see" said James as he walked away.
As he continued walking, all he could see were merchandises of the winx...Roxy the animal fairy and most recently...Daphne included. Every time James looked at them, he kept seeing them being replaced with figurines of him instead and some even had him standing next to the girls......as the ninth member.
