Chapter 24: Fearwood Part 2

Forest

"..........Nothing, not one sign of the totem. I'm beginning to wonder if this was a mistake?" wondered Roy as he looked around.

"Let's try this way, maybe we'll have better luck there" said Thoren as he pointed to his right.

Suddenly the boys all heard howling and their first thoughts were "Its a wild animal". In which case, they immediately got on the defensive.

"You all heard that right?" asked Sky.

"Over there!" shouted Nex as he pointed at a tree.

At the top of the tree that Nex was pointing at was a figure and it was crouched down.

"I've got this, just get ready!" shouted Helia as he stood in front of everybody.

The figure soon jumped down and it was revealed to be Riven. Up to his usual tricks again.

"Ha! That was way too easy!" laughed Riven.

"Riven! It was you?!" shouted Helia.

"Relax, you need to lighten up" said Riven.

"Not everything is a joke!" yelled Helia as he began starting a fight.

Of course, this meant that Sky had to intervene but even so, he didn't like the responsibility of doing it because of how childish this situation seemed.

"Riven, some of us are trying to take this mission very seriously so could you please take that into consideration? Like Helia for example?" asked Sky.

"Oh come on Sky, who says your way is always the right way?" asked Riven.

"Ok, point taken so that's enough! We can't afford to lose or waste any more time!" said Thoren as he also stepped in.

"Riven if I may, if you're dead serious about James being your idol, maybe you should try acting like him" said Sky.

"When I said I wanted to be like him, I meant skills, not politics or behavior. Even though he can do them all, he's him and I'm me so deal with it!" said Riven.

Cloud tower

"Oh this is not good! Boys aside, the winx are sure to have located the totem by now!" said Darcy.

"Selina, the time has come for you to entertain them with a 'nice' fairy tale" said Icy evilly.

"Well finally, I'd thought you'd never ask. Ah, here we go. From the darkest times comes the curse of Fearwood forest, where mere mortal men and women howled at the moon. Werewolves! Unleash your inner beasts and destroy the winx!" commanded Selina.

Town

After calming down and giving up their search in the forest, the guys decided to try and find the girls. Maybe they had better luck than they did, they always had.

"I'll say this out loud, I can sum up that search of ours with one word, useless" said Timmy.

Suddenly a strange wind blew in the air and the specialists and paladins braced themselves.

"At this point, we better join the winx!" said Sky.

"I'm certain that they had more luck than us!" said Roy.

Suddenly, howls could be heard and Sky began to get irritated.

"Again?!" sighed Sky as he walked towards an alleyway.

Helia was quick to follow Sky, he was now completely pissed off at Riven's antics.

"This is a serious mission! Now cut it out Riven!" shouted Sky as he faced 'Riven's' shadow in the alleyway entrance.
