Chapter 26: Stella is made queen

Sometime in the past, James had encountered another lunatic wizard and this one was different from Valtor. He was holding a book of some kind and he was successful in taking all of James's attacks head on.

"You are strong James, I can tell you have trained hard to reach this point" said Acheron.

"Nice of you to notice" replied James as he never let his guard down.

".........Why don't you stop fooling me and yourself? Release all your great power and you could easily rid me from the universe!" said Acheron.

"I won't and I never will! Unlike you I actually understand this power, truly understand it!" shouted James.

"True, I don't fully understand the things that this book can do. But there's one thing I do understand, power must never remain useless!" said Acheron as he caught James with a magic wire.

"If you want my power, you'll have to pry it from my cold and lifeless husk!" yelled James as he began struggling.

"If you will not use your power, I will! At least it will be useful instead of getting lazy inside of you!" said Acheron.

Suddenly James broke free and to Acheron's shock.....James was aiming his swords at himself.

"You try and take my power, I'll take my life away! One of the few things I'm grateful for is that I'm the only one with this kind of power. I was born with it and it will die with me! I will not tip the balance of power anymore, I will not pass on my power to anyone else! I will make sure everything is stable, before I came into being!" declared James.

Before James could fatally stab himself, Acheron personally intervened and he was grunting while trying to hold James's swords back.

"I can't allow that James.......I see the potential within you. I see the hatred, I see years of it, I see what you will become. You'll make a perfect medium for my will............" said Acheron before everything vanished.

Dorm room

James woke up with heavy breathing and he was sweating like crazy. Daphne was right next to his bed and she was worried about him.

"James, thank goodness. Are you alright?" asked Daphne worriedly.

".........A nightmare...............but I don't remember any of it, except for.....how tempting death was for me at that point....." said James as he wiped his sweat away.

"Oh James........." said Daphne as she hugged him.

Hugging back, James just sighed and snuggled up to Daphne. He was so lucky to have loving, caring and beautiful sisters.

"Where are Bloom and Flora?" asked James as he peeked around.

"Bloom and the others are on their way to Cloud tower, it's been discovered and located. They're going to try and close the Legendarium for good. They were worried about you but I assured them that I would stay behind and look after you while they went on ahead" said Daphne.

"I feel really light headed........." said James as he rested on Daphne.

"Oh! Then you need to rest!" said Daphne as she patted James's pillow and made him rest on it.

"If you'd like, you could rest on either Bloom or Flora's bed. I'm sure they wouldn't mind" said James.

"Thanks but I think I'll stand" said Daphne with a smile.

Suddenly hearing chattering outside, Daphne walked towards the balcony window and she could see the winx standing in the courtyard. The pixies were also there and they immediately greeted their fairies.
