".........So our friends have completely lost their good memories of you? And all of the times you've spent together with them?" asked Twilight.

"Yeah, that's the gist of it. And I have no idea why" said Sunset as she walked down the halls with James and Twilight.

"This is bad Sunset, it's way beyond anything I've ever heard of. Although..........." said Twilight as she looked a little uncertain.

"What......?" asked Sunset.

"I just had an idea....but you might not like it" said Twilight.

"I'll do anything to get my friends back Twilight, just tell me what it is" said Sunset.

"Well, there is one pony who might be able to help......but I don't know if you two want to see each other" said Twilight.

"Who................oh" said Sunset as she looked down.

"What?" asked James.

"...........Princess Celestia" said Sunset quietly.

"Your old mentor?" asked James.

"That's the one......remember that talk we had? I..........I haven't seen her in so long and.....I just left my teacher....my friend's side...on bad terms just because I didn't get what I wanted quick enough, even though I thought I was ready. The old me really was terrible" said Sunset.

".......Still, if this is the way we're gonna get your friends back, let's go for it. Heh...and you know what? It may be reconciliation time" said James.

".........That's if she wants to forgive me or not, not that I blame her since.....you know" said Sunset.

"Changing the topic, do you do this around here? Is this normal behavior?" asked James as he began wagging his tail.

"Hahahaha!!! Oh that is rich!" laughed Twilight.

"Hehe, no we don't do that here James. You can stop now" laughed Sunset.

"Heh, at least I've lifted your spirits up. So....how are we going to see princess Celestia?" asked James.

"Hm, usually I would fly there now since I have wings. But I say we take the train to her kingdom, just like old times!" said Twilight.

"Speaking of flying, how come you have wings and Sunset and I don't?" asked James.

"Um..........to explain it in the shortest amount of time possible, Twilight is what you'd call an Alicorn. They're special, royalty and it's a position must be earned. My impatience and selfishness caused me to lose my opportunity back then......." said Sunset.

"Hm...........still not getting the whole picture but ok, I guess I'll just take it as they're special. Oh and what's with this flaming sword tattoo on my butt?" asked James.

"That's a cutie mark" said Twilight.

"Sounds very girly and childish for someone like me" said James with a drop of sweat.

"Heh, maybe back where you come from" said Sunset with a smirk.

"..........Anyways let's get going, otherwise we'll miss the train" said James with a sigh.

And so, the group took the train to this world's Canterlot. Seeing princess Twilight Sparkle was enough for the guards to allow her and her friends through.

Upon entering the throne room, the atmosphere became tense. Celestia had immediately spread her wings, Sunset immediately lowered her head in fear and shame and James immediately felt short again when he compared himself to Celestia and Luna. He really wanted to cry now.
