James had brought Musa outside for some fresh air and also to try and make her feel a little bit better. But of course, you can imagine how Musa must be feeling right now.
As the fairy of music, losing her voice is essentially losing her magic and cutting off all ties to it. Resting underneath the tree, James continued keeping watch over Musa.
"It's going to be ok Musa, Alfea won't fall because I won't let it" said James.
Nodding, Musa soon turned her head and continued facing her legs.
"I've got an idea, use this to talk to me" said James as he brought out papers and a pencil.
Musa was soon writing her message and once she was done, James took it and read it silently.
"Oh James, how could this have happened to me?"
"I don't know Musa, the Legendarium contains numerous creatures with a multitude of abilities that are unknown...even to me" said James.
"But it shouldn't have happened! Rumpelstiltskin, he was completely immune to all of my attacks. Same with the winx! I couldn't do anything, I was so helpless! Guess this was why you decided to accel in physical confrontations huh?"
"I guess.....but also probably because I was jealous of you fairies. I did my best to mimic your spells and your benefits and advantages of being a fairy" said James.
"Well this is one time where I wished I was you, I guess this way.....I now have a better understanding of why you tried so hard to be like us, the roles have switched and I can see it clearly now from your perspective. Losing my voice was tragic for me but.....that's not the only reason why I'm upset"
"What do you mean?" asked James.
"It's........about Riven, nowadays he keeps on ignoring me. He's just so focused on his training that...I worry if whether we'll be able to keep this up. He's changed, I know he's always been ambitious about becoming number one but....this time it's different. Does he even care about me anymore?"
"Honestly.....I think not" admitted James.
"Thought so"
"Just know, whatever you decide.....it's your call......and Riven has brought this upon himself. But just so we're clear, I also believe that Riven's heart is in the right place and that he now understands the necessities of protecting life. It is also because of my belief that his heart is in the right place....that he will be understanding of your decisions regarding your relationship with him" said James.
Nodding, Musa soon wrote another message and she soon handed it over to James once she was finished with it.
"Still, thank you James. I'm truly glad I got to be friends with you, it makes me....just as happy as the day I first met Bloom. Which is ironic since the two of you are related to each other. I just wish that all of this would end, how many more times do we have to fight?"
"Unfortunately I have the answer to that because I've lived through the past and some parts of the future. We, those who fight evil, will never stop fighting. But keep in mind that I've mentioned I've only been to some parts of the future, who's to say that maybe it will end? We'll live for a very long time so we'll probably be around to see it. For now, let's spark the inspiration our ancestors had left us" said James.
The pixies soon came in and they too began trying to cheer Musa up. Kiko was there too and he was immediately snuggling on Musa's chest.
"Look, here they are now! The winx are back" shouted Amore.
True enough, the winx were walking towards James and Musa. Musa was the first one to get up and face her friends, hoping they were successful.
"I'm sorry Musa........" said Bloom as she shook her head.
