Chapter 14: Finding the library and the diary

Egypt

James, Daphne, the 'students' and the winx were now in Egypt thanks to Daphne's teleportation spell. They were in a area that was filled with various ruins, depicting the time and civilization of ancient Egypt.

"And we've made it! Alexandria Egypt! History tells us that the library was destroyed in a fire many centuries ago...but in actuality the library is hidden. Only the fairy godmother and a few other people know of its location" said Daphne.

"And I'm one of them" said James.

"Right then, so where do we start?" asked Daphne.

"Well not here for starters, I'm willing to bet that the main entrances to the library have collapsed...over the centuries. So we're gonna have to take the secret entrance, its in a ravine that also looks like a cave. We'll need to get airborne in order to see it properly and find the right one since there are so many" said James.

Soon the pixies came back and they were puzzled.

"Can humans see us now? Those tourists were taking pictures" said Lockette.

"I think so, especially since magic came back to Earth and became part of the magic dimension" said Bloom.

"Good thing we'll be flying, these shoes weren't exactly made for tracing around archaeological sites" said Stella.

"We could transform now and get a bird's eye view. I don't see any harm in doing so" said Flora.

"Let's hold off on that Flora, we need to keep a low profile" said Bloom.

"Keep a low profile? You're the winx, you're well known on Earth and beyond even if you don't transform! But if you meant that we shouldn't drag the humans with us by showing off anything fancy because it could endanger them if they follow us, then I understand" said James.

"You know me well" said Bloom with a smirk.

"Hm, I think I might have just the solution. What about those?" asked Aisha as she pointed at some hot air balloons.

"Sweet!" said Bloom.

"I feel a little bad for taking away their hot air balloons, hopefully their hotels are somewhere close by" said James as he looked at the tourists.

Soon everyone got in a balloon and they were soon flying.

"Now this is what I call flying in style..........although the heat is killing me" said Stella.

"Surprising considering who you are!" shouted James from the distance.

James was riding with the trix and they were being extra careful around him.

"Now he will be a problem" whispered Darcy.

"Acts like Optimus, behaves like Optimus and thinks like Optimus" whispered Stormy.

"Well now that we know, let's just get ready for the right time to strike. But of course, I am a little worried that he might be able to detect our negative energies. Unlike the others" whispered Icy.

After traveling for quite some time, the trix decided to end their boredom by doing something evil.

"Ready to make this a bit more interesting?" asked Icy.

"Ready" said Stormy.

After making sure that James wasn't looking twice, Stormy made a HUGE tornado appear. Because James was right behind the other balloons, he was the first to get enveloped by dark clouds and the first one to spot the tornado.

"Girls alter course now! Tornado!" shouted James.

Unfortunately the girls couldn't hear him and they soon learned of James's warning the hard way.
