Chapter 37: The world of friendship

It was the next day and everyone was feeling refreshed. Last night's events certainly left an interesting mark on a certain someone and he/she was still feeling good about it. In James's shared room, he was helping with sorting out the returned washed clothes from last night.

"And you're sure that no one saw you when you transformed?" asked Musa.

"At least I think so but even if a few people saw me, at least I gave them something nice to look at" said James with a smirk.

"..........Putting that aside, I've just finished your designs James" said Tecna.

"Designs?" asked Bloom.

"Ah yes, you know how I love to study and tinker and see how vast is our world? I've asked Tecna to help me build the new dimensional machine so that I can explore black holes. I'm gonna see if whether it's really a portal or if it really has anything to do with time and space. And if I can, I'm also gonna venture forth into the edge of our universe and begin to approach the multiverse. Since we've got plenty of time because the trix are still hurt, now's the perfect opportunity to explore" said James.

"I know you'll survive it all but that still sounds incredibly dangerous" said Bloom with worry.

"Come on, it's James! I'm sure he'll be fine" said Stella.

"Anyways, where's the machine Tecna?" asked James.

"It's in my room, it's ready for activation if you're feeling up to it" said Tecna.

And so, James and the six girls were soon in Tecna's room and they were right in front of a huge machine.

"Heh, I was wondering what this huge machine was for. Now I know.........and hopefully I can get some sleep this time" said Musa.

"So is everything set Tecna?" asked James.

"Yup and I've also made some modifications of my own" said Tecna with a smile.

"Um, now I'm getting worried" said James.

"Relax, nothing will happen. Trust me, I'm the tech genius here" said Tecna.

".........Did you make sure that the plus part ends in the plus part? And the minus part, went to the minus part?" asked James with a straight face.

Staring at James, Tecna soon opened what looks like the power chamber and she was soon switching the position of what the others assumed was a giant battery.

"Heheh...........oops. Ok, now it's ready" said Tecna with an embarrassed smile.

"At this rate, now I'm really worried about those modifications you've made to the system" said James as he stepped onto the launch pad.

"If anything happens, I'll just blame Tecna and she owes me $500" said Bloom with a smile.

"Yep" said the other girls with a nod as well.

"............Anyways, whenever you're ready James" said Tecna as she soon got in front of the controls.

"Ok then, light it up Tecna! And pray that all goes well" said James as he braced himself.

Pushing a few buttons, the portal soon opened and it began sucking James in.

"That doesn't look right" said Tecna as she began pushing the various controls.

"Tecna, shut it down!" shouted James.

"I'm trying but it won't respond!" yelled Tecna.

"Next time, don't modify anything I designnnnnneeeeedddd!" yelled James as he was soon completely sucked into the portal.
