The City was named Ferdinand Pichard because it has its own tale.
Ares has a son named Ferdinand who happens to fall inlove with a pauper woman. He said he still wanted the lady even though the town called this girl as Arrietty because the girl can't remember anything after the clock strikes twelve at midnight. 

"Whoa. So that's it! Ha-ha! I get it now. Kaya ba nakakalimot ang pumapasok rito pag dating nang 12 'o clock? Andaya ha! Bakit iginagaya r'on?" Nakasimangot na sabi ko.

Ngumiwi ako bago nagpatuloy sa pag babasa.

Ferdinand loves Arrietty so much, that he himself burried all the clock in their town just to avoid seeing the time when his love always forget about everything including him. Ares didn't like the lady because as a God, he saw how the lady behaved. The girl was greedy. She wants all the attention and power, to the point that she wants to marry Ferdinand even when she can't remember anything..which means that love is missing. For this girl was cursed by the goddess of destruction, Eris. And the cure for her curse is to remember the one she loves yet she couldn't remember Ferdinand.

"Gaga pala 'to eh! Siya pala pinagmulan nang lahat! Tingin ko siya, hay nako! Bakit ba naman kasi siya tinamaan nang Alzheimer eh," inis kong sabi.

Ares knew that Arrietty doesn't love his son. So he tried to warn his son but Ferdinand refused to listen. Ferdinand still married Arrietty, but as soon as the news flies, Zeus learned that Arrietty was cursed and the worse is that she's a pauper woman, a mortal--which can never be with a demigod. Zeus tried to make the two apart, but Ferdinand is firm and strong, he doesn't care if Zeus would kill him, he's happy being with his love until his last breath. Ares was so furious when he found out that Zeus planned to kill Arrietty and Ferdinand. That's how the war between Gods reigned again.

"Omygod. I swear Arrietty! Kinalbo sana kita kung inabot kitang gaga ka," halos umakyat sa ulo ko ang inis.

They trained troops just to protect themselves and protect Arrietty. Coronation day came but unfortunately, Ferdinand can't be crowned as king because he married Arrietty, a human with no power or ability. Arrietty became a Dragon lady who always got mad for unknown reasons. Then the night before the titans attacked, Arrietty killed Ferdinand's mother because of the thought that they're both humans but why was she's the only one who gets punished? Ferdinand didn't believe any of those rumours since he was so deep inlove with Arrietty and Arrietty claimed that she's innocent since she doesn't remember anything. But when the titans attacked their homeland, during the battle..Arrietty took all of his golds and ran away.
