My fuckin face hurt, that nigga Quran hit hard as fuck and I knew that I would have to handle him with extreme caution because he wasn't an easy win, I'll give credit when it's due but that nigga Quran was too damn soft, that was the issue with them city boys they never worked hard a day in their lives. I probably shouldn't be too hard on him, true I didn't want him fuckin up the sanctity of my home of judging my love of ass but most of my anger came from the argument I had with my boyfriend Jerell and I was taking it out on Quran. The ride to the restaurant he was pretty quiet except when he was answering Naz and Lucci's questions in which he gave short answers; I could tell they were both interested in him even though they were fuckin each other..... my boys were freaks and a few times I joined them whenever we got really drunk, even though I was in a relationship, maybe that's what Jerell was mad about this week because occasionally I stepped out on him but he'd come back like he always did. Another thing that's been bothering me was the fact that Semaj was out..... that was a conversation I wasn't ready for but if I knew Semaj then more likely then not he was out looking for me, which is probably why I didn't go pick up Quran so I could avoid that nigga.
"Ayy Quran we're going to the Quarry tomorrow you wanna come?" Naz asked and I quickly shot him and look that so 'FUCK NO' but he winked and kept right on talking. "It's out the way and only a few people know about it but we always have a blast and you should definitely think about it." Naz said.
"The Quarry what is that like a club or something?" Quran asked and all I could do was shake my head, this nigga was so ignorant.... then again he lived in an apartment complex so wouldn't be surprised if his nigga went swimming in the sewer or even worse a public swimming pool.
"Nah we'll have to show you....." Naz said and I rolled my eyes, great first this nigga invades my house and now he's trying to steal my friends. "But it's kinda like a swimming hole." Naz said I swear this nigga talked too damn much.... We got to the restaurant and of course, it was packed, I saw a couple people from our school and said wassup to them before going to our usual table. I saw Jerell and got up, he saw me coming and started walking off... here we go with this bullshyt again, I caught up with him outside and braced myself for impact.
"Cobi.... what excuse do you have now for not picking me up from work? See this is why I don't deal with your stupid ass 'baby let me drive you to work, I promise I'll pick you up' and then I'm sitting out there looking stupid as fuck for trusting your ass yet again." Jerell said and I let out a low sigh, this I could deal with him finding out about that nigga I met in Atlanta, now that would be a problem.
"Rell I'm sorry, I completely forgot that I had to pick up my cousin today and then his bus was late.... I fucked up, let me make it up to you, we can do anything you want this weekend just name it and we'll do it." I said looking into his eyes. "What you don't believe me? Fine, let's go ask him." I said grabbing his hand.
"Cobi chill....." Jerell said but I was determined.... hopefully this didn't blow up in my face. "God this is so damn stupid....." Jerell mumbled as we reached the table.
"Quran tell this nigga I had to pick you up from the bus station and your bus ran late." I said looking at Quran, okay maybe not my best decision considering that we literally just got into a fight and for a second Quran looked like he was about to throw me under the bus.
"Yeah my fault.... my bus was late and then we were catching up, I haven't seen my cousin since we were little and y'know how it goes. So I apologize for any trouble I may have caused in y'alls relationship." Quran said quietly.... damn that nigga was quick, honestly, I didn't think he would figure it out but oh well. "I'm Quran by the way." Quran said shaking Jerell's hand.
"Ayy we're going to the Quarry tomorrow and I know you're off so you wanna come with us?" I asked Jerell and he nodded. "Aight we'll I'll let you get back to your friends, I'll call you later tonight." I said leaning forward for a kiss but he walked off pissed. "Thanks....." I said quietly but Quran went right back to texting on his phone.
