Growing up I was taught there were three sides to the Cunningham Family; there was the batshit crazy side or the Miami Cunninghams like my mom's cousin Kadeem, and my cousins Cain and Caleb, my mom's aunt Mary. Then there was the laid back side like Khalil and all his brothers and sisters I didn't know too much about them but from what I heard they were all about making money and staying out of drama, we called them the Texas Cunninghams. Finally, there was us... me, my mom, my mom's brother Sonny and his three sons.... we were kinda in the middle, a little crazy but mostly about making our money. That's where I was heading now, I hadn't seen my cousins; Aries, Ahmad, and August since I had gotten out of jail and I missed them niggas a lot, and when I was with them I always had a good ass time. I drove to Atlanta and texted these niggas to see where the fuck they were at, I swear people in Atlanta couldn't drive for shyt and I already had anger issues so I needed to hurry up and find these niggas so I could smoke. Finally, I arrived at my destination and I spotted them instantly because Ahmad and August were in the middle of the street shadowboxing like always.

"I'll beat all three of y'alls asses....." I said getting out the car and watching them. They all looked at me before rushing over to me, for a second I thought they were trying to hug me but instead, they picked me up and carried me to the back of my uncle's house and threatened to throw me in the pool. "AIGHT QUIT PLAYIN!!!" I said as they sat me down on my feet. "Y'all play too much."

"Shut up jailbird..... I should beat your ass for taking the fall for them bitch ass niggas, I've been telling you for years not to trust Jacobi but you didn't listen and now you have a fuckin record." August said.

"Says the nigga that's still fuckin Jacobi every Tuesday." Ahmad said and I looked over at August who was smiling. "Nigga don't smile.... you just went on this long rant about how you should beat Semaj's ass for taking the charge for them yet you and Jacobi are still each others side nigga."

"I do beat Jacobi's ass every chance I get..... just not in the traditional sense and shut up Ahmad don't worry about what I do you just worry about that little girlfriend of your and stay outta my business." August said sitting on one of the lawn chairs.

"Both of y'all need to shut up..... so what was it like Semaj?" Aries the oldest of my cousins asked looking over at me.

"Towards the end it wasn't so the bad, but in the beginning I was always fighting mainly because of how I looked; niggas were jealous of me and as y'all know I got a short temper, but it wasn't too bad the main issue I had was the cot.... y'all know I need a lot of space to move around, eventually I just ended up sleeping on the floor." I said and they looked at each other.

"You hear about the family reunion?" August asked and I shook my head. "Yeah well it's supposed to be going on at the end of the summer and supposedly that nigga Devin is supposed to show up with Cam and Sa'vion......" August said and I shook my head, this nigga swore he was the best rapper alive and maybe since I've been locked up he's honed his skill because before I went in I'd rather listen to my parents have sex than to hear his whack ass raps.

"Ayy I gotta go meet up with my tutor.... I'll catch y'all later, Semaj welcome home lil' cuzz." Aries said getting up and pushing my head.

"Yeah I gotta get going too, my girl has a backache so I'm about to go give her a massage." Ahmad said winking and I shook my head, I made this drive to chill with my cousins but they were thinking about pussy.

"Since them nigga's is busy I guess I can come with you back to your house and we can chill there for a couple days.... me and my old man aren't exactly seeing eye to eye at the moment and I need to get away for about a week." August said as we walked into the house, being the youngest August was the wildest of all my cousins which caused a lot of issues between him and my Uncle Sonny.
