Me and Quran had hit the first bump in our relationship, it wasn't anything major but it did cause a little argument; it started when we were at the mall, I'm the type of dude who doesn't bother with price tags, if I like it, I buy it and I knew Quran was a little more conservative when it came to spending money. I brushed his irritation off because for the last eighteen months I haven't been able to do anything I wanted to do so if I wanted to flex a little bit he was just going to have to suck it up.Then we got to the food court, anyone who stays in Atlanta know how the queens are especially when there's 'new meat' in town so of course, they were eyeing him waiting for me to walk off to make their move. I didn't blame them because Quran was just..... and it didn't help that the shirt he was wearing had one word written across it which was 'TOP', that shyt made me smirk because he didn't realize how close I was to changing that. I walked off to the bathroom and took my time when I came back, of course, Quran was surrounded by the Rainbow Rodeo.

".... you should give me your number so we can chill." Red said. "How big is your dick?" Orange asked. "Was that redbone your boyfriend?" Yellow asked. "Y'all down for a threesome?" Green asked. "Let me throw you some neck..." Purple said. These hoes were too damn thirsty, the only one who didn't say anything was Blue and that let me know he was the most dangerous because he was playing the shy, innocent role.

"I don't have a cellphone, my dick size is private only my dude needs to know the size, yes that was my boyfriend, no we're not down for a threesome, and no thanks......" Quran said answering their questions but they were relentless. Quran's eyes met mine and he was basically saying help me out. I walked up behind him pulled his head back and started kissing him.... by the time we finally broke apart the queens had gone to their own table and I could tell they were still plotting, one was even cyberstalking Quran just based on his name alone. "Why'd you leave me? I was about to start swinging if one of them reached for my dick and I could tell they were tempted."

"Which one? You know I've been itching to fight ever since I got out...." I said not knowing where this jealousy was coming from. Quran pulled me back towards him and chuckled to himself. "What's so funny?" I asked seriously ready to beat somebodies ass.

"Chill out, I told you when we first started talking that I'm not a cheater.... if I'm with you, I'm with you and I'm not going to fuck that up." Quran said still with that cocky grin on his face.

"You also told me that you lose interest quickly and if you find yourself getting bored in a relationship you end it..... so what's to say I'm not boring you?" I asked looking into his eyes.

"Well, the fact that you sucked my dick while I was driving is a good indication that you'll keep things interesting, besides something tells me that you know exactly how to keep my interest." Quran said. "Real talk I've never gotten my dick sucked while driving before."

"And you were doing all that talking about how much of a freak you were.... honestly Quran you're pretty limited if you ask me..... don't get me wrong the dick is good but let's just say that by the time you leave here, you'll be a whole new man." I said and Quran licked his lips in a way that was telling me he wanted to eat my ass right there in front of everybody in the mall. "We should go, I don't wanna keep my cousins waiting because knowing them they'd probably show up here acting ignorant.

We pulled up to my cousin's house and of course, these dudes were out front drinking, never mind that it was about two o'clock in the afternoon, these dudes didn't care. We walked over to them and watched as August and Ahmad had started arguing about something while Aries watched me and Quran closely; Aries being my oldest cousin was kinda like my big brother so naturally, he was extremely protective.

"Ayy Semaj I need to run to the store to grab a few more things for dinner and since I can barely walk in a straight line you'll have to drive." Aries said walking towards me and as far as I could tell he seemed perfectly fine which told me he wanted to talk to me. "You know what on second thought Quran should drive, yeah that makes more sense... no offense Quran but you can't know all the family recipes just yet, come on Walmart is like ten minutes away." He said handing Quran the keys to his car which was strange in and of itself so I knew he wanted to feel Quran out. "When Talia gets here tell her I ran to the store, Ahmad check them ribs, August don't fuck up the mac and cheese, Semaj you got the greens." I watched as Quran left with Aries.

"Don't worry you know Aries is soft, he wants to get to know Quran but did you hear the great news?" August asked and I could tell whatever he was about to say definitely wasn't good news. "Well..... Cousin Clévon will be staying with us for the summer." I felt a sense of dread wash over me, Clévon Cunningham was from the Crazy Cunninghams so him coming to Georgia would be interesting sometimes his crazy was fun other times.... and other times you'd most likely you'd end up in a S.W.A.T. raid.

"So is he going to cause any trouble?" I asked knowing how Clévon thought and knowing he had no problem starting a riot just to watch.

"Not if we introduce him to someone who can keep him occupied.... but we can talk about that later, how's my baby doing?" August asked and I rolled my eyes.

"I don't know August you tell me, you know I don't really fuck with Jacobi like that and I'm almost certain you talk to him more than I do." I said looking at August who just threw his hands up.

"Guilty but y'all don't see Jacobi the way that I do.... and yeah he fucked up over but you gotta admit you played a part in that as well, I mean no one said you HAD to take the charge for him or even snitch, hell you could've reported your car stolen. All I know is when you throw this party I'm going to be a little messy and claim my dude and I dare Jerell or Victor to say something." August said and I just shook my head because this dude was a trip.

"Wait you're throwing a party? I'm confused because I was under the impression you didn't have any friends. No offense Maj but you've been locked up for a year and a half so I know you do have that many friends.... unless you plan on inviting some of your courtyard cousins." Ahmad said before I could think of a smart comeback the most raggedy car I've ever seen in my life pulled up in front of the house, now I'm not the type of dude who judges but that car looked like a death trap the doors were tied shut with a scarf, the bumper looked like it was being held together with weave glue, and when the driver parked the car started rolling backwards.

"AAAHHHMMMAAADDD!!!!!" His ghetto girlfriend said jumping out her car, Mya was G.H.E.T.T.O. but Ahmad loved her so I wouldn't say anything. Aries's girlfriend Talia got out the passenger seat and she looked like she was about to be sick, though they were cousins they were totally different. "AWW LOOK AT SEMAJJJJ ALL GROWN UP!!!!" She said hugging me and I instantly smelled why she was so damn excited, it's because she was high as fuck. "I hope the food is ready because a bitch is hungry...." Mya said walking into the house while Talia covered her face in embarrassment.

"What did you and Aries talk about?" I asked sitting next to Quran who for a second seemed more interested in his food than anything else that was going on, I reached for his fork and the way Quran looked at me was like he was getting ready to stab me. "Damn it's not that serious punk."

"I think y'all niggas is trying to make me fat..... all this food and it's so good..... I'm going to have to hit the gym hard as fuck in the morning, too much seasoning though." Quran said smirking. "But Aries was coo... he was just trying to get some information on me and let me know a few things about you." Quran said with a playful smile.

"A few things like what?" I asked but Quran leaned over and kissed me, his lips tasted like barbecue sauce with a hint of Henny. "You don't plan on telling me do you?" I asked and Quran shook his head.

"Don't worry my baby, it was all good things mixed with a few thinly veiled threats.But it's all good, what are we doing after we leave here? I'm down for taking a long ass nap but I can tell you have other things planned." Quran said and I glanced over that Aries wondering what he had said to Quran, before I could figure out what the move was I got a text from my boy Torique telling me about this party that was going on tonight.

"You wanna go to a party?" I asked and Quran nodded. Like I said earlier, for the last eighteen months I hadn't been able to do anything I wanted so I wanted to go out and have a good time, since the last party I went to I couldn't invite my dude I figured this would provide the perfect opportunity to see Quran in a more lively environment.................................
